Curious to see what you guys think would happen if the site stayed like or got even worse where there was no restocking no sending scores on games all auctions stayed frozen trade was the only way to do business. What items do you think would be worth the most? Would people be selling codestones for 100k a pop and price gouging on everything? What do you think?
If there was a real neo apocalypse ??

If it stayed like this longer than a month, it'd die.
No one would be on it.
Why'd they sell to Jumpstart anyway?

Iv seen a lot of people saying that jumpstart could do a better job than the last owner (viacom right?)
Anyways, 2 days of being down really hurt the site (at least in the short term), 1 week of being down or even more could be worse. Thats why i believe they have the site running without many features working properly

I am really hoping that by selling to Jumpstart that they will take focus off of the Neocash and converting all of the pets to the standard poses of different colors. I hope they achieve a fraction of what it used to be and not be so money oriented like Nikelodeon was/is.
But about this, I'm sure that the neopian addicts will just have their forced hiatus and when they discover it's back online they'll all return. Honestly it's too much time and work invested in the game to give it up even if it is down for months.

@boobface
Lets hope so, Viacom just poisoned the game with "F2P" customization junk.
I think if they get the site up sometime, it will be back to normal.

To be honest, even after the fixes it feels more like a "real neopocalypse" right now. Peak user usage went from 10k to 3.5k after, and I've NEVER seen it that low on weeknights. It's scary. Hope Jumpstart injects some life into the poor site and doesn't let it sit in this slow, buggy state for long.

The counter thingy has been broken, that's why it never goes above 3.5k
So it broke with the server switch? That's actually a relief...3.5k is literally double the population of most of Neopet's competitors, if its population crashed that hard that fast it would be on its way to becoming a pointless ghost town.
