You should know better. Correlation doesn't mean causation.
Never said it did. You are both right. It's naunced and context matters.
Okay. Another short bitch rant but also victory!
That guy I bitched about yesterday?
He started shit posting on my timeline again, not but 15 minutes after I got online.
Let me give you a little more context - this guy has bipolar disorder. I always talked to him cautiously and reassured his insecurities. I think I'm a pretty nice human being and I try, though sometimes I fail, at being understanding especially about mental illness. I've lived my life being gaslighted and invalidated. So, I tend to be extra empathetic to people who feel that way. But I'm also now at this point where I refuse to put up with that shit. Back in November, this guy had a major blowout because I am liberal and pansexual and I disagree with his political views (he's conservative, anti-LGBT, etc). And I guess when he gets in his moods, he does shit he doesn't remember, because he unfriended me on FB, then had a freakout because he claimed I unfriended him. This was THREE DAYS after my brain surgery. I was also dealing with a rather shitty hotel manager. This is the first time I had ever seen him act like that, get mean and make claims that weren't true.
Fast-forward. I told you all about how he had messaged me every day in January and would go from hello to I'm never speaking to you again in a span of two seconds.
I've really hit this point in my life where I get angry rarely. But I need to work through it in healthy ways instead of avoiding it and becoming the shell of a person I was three years ago. Avoiding shit like this is partially why I became so dysfunctional. I need to know the therapy worked and that I am a better human being now. I'm still a person and I'm still gonna make mistakes.
Anyways, so this is what happened this morning:

If you're wondering what nice things he did, he sent me a care package. And I did thank him, repeatedly, in private message and publicly on my timeline. His perception of the events is very frustrating and hilarious. Anyways, he blocked me. And then messaged my best friend M, she's how I met him btw, and said I was a fucking weirdo and gave her his 'permission' to be my friend still lol. And then continued to talk shit and say that I caused all this and I mistreated him.
So, it's finally over and I'm angry, but I also feel really good about how I handled the situation. Finally, I've learned to use my anger in healthy ways. xD
