Nominations start: Now

Nominations end: April 11, 2015 at 8:59 NST

Voting Period: April 12 to April 14 at 8:59 NST

Who to nominate: We are looking for someone who is kind, helpful, and has made great contributions to the forum while encouraging activity. You may nominate up to three people.

How to nominate: To nominate, either PM me or post here. Your nomination must include the person's username and 2-3 well thought out reasons - for example, explaining how well you think they did contributing to something. Reasons like "because they're cool" will not be counted.

How to win: The three users with the most nominations will be voted on at the end of the nomination period. The person with the most votes at the end of the voting period will become April's Member of the Month.

Full Rules:

- Do not nominate yourself or ask to be nominated.

- Staff members may be nominated but each individual staff member may only win once every six months.

- Provide 2-3 well thought out reasons as to why you think the user you have nominated should be Member of the Month. If your reasoning is not valid, your nomination may not be considered.

- Post your nomination here or PM me if you would like to be anonymous.

- If you won the previous month, you cannot be nominated.

April MOTM Prizes:

- Private+ site theme for the month.

- Pretty userbar for the month:

- Shiny award to keep permanently:

This award can be achieved by anyone by following the criteria below:

- Nominate 3 different people in the current MOTM topic while following the "How to Nominate" criteria.

- Of those 3 nominees, none of them must be members who won within the last three MOTM's.

- Of those 3 nominees, none of them must be staff members (moderators+admins) who won within the last six MOTM's.

- Not retroactively awarded for nominations before November 2014.

This better not be an April fools joke okay

We don't joke here at NeoCupid.

We don't have "April fools" here. What are you talking about?

[Shane]

I wonder who will win this month...

[Swar]

I nominate @ lll
APRIL FOOLS DOE

@ lll for world leader!

[Drakonid]

why was he banned anyway?

[blue]

That username is so much cooler now that it's banned lol!

Good luck anyone that's nominated.

[Rocket]

@ Arman ?

[Karla]

In case this is NOT an April Fool, here is my nominom:

I nominate Chappy for their hard work for creating and managing the Draw Every Week Thread, and keeping the artists on their toes for getting their submissions in.  It's because of her and her thread that people are able to post their amazing artworks.

[Swar]

Come on, only one nomination so far! We need more!

[Strategist]

@Satsuki for all that she does for the newbies. Every time I see an intro thread, you can almost guarantee that she will post there welcoming a new member to the forum and offering them help. Then there's the Flight Rising account giveaways that she has done for the past few registration windows for people who missed out on creating an account. Kudos to you and well done!

@Chappy for all the work she has put in to running the Draw Every Week stuff. It's great to see so many people now participating in this and discovering their true artistic sides! Some of the pieces produced by people who claim that 'they're not good at drawing/art' are amazing! Thanks for taking the time out to ping everyone reminders and host the entire thing.

I will probably have yet another nomination to add to this but for now, those two are the most outstanding ones that I have noticed

[Alexiel]

@Prisca has been an overall awesome, friendly, helpful, generous member of the community. One of the true core members of the site that's great seeing here active across all forums of the site. She's been an excellent and frequent host, participant, and donor to a lot of our contests. Some of our most active, helpful, and interesting threads around were started by her. Everything she brings to this site is greatly appreciated.

Would like to second the @Satsuki nomination for all the above reasons. It's great that she's so involved. Really cool how she's helped many of our members get into a game they'd otherwise have to wait for, and by doing so expanding our community beyond our forum. I certainly love having so many fellow Codexians on my FlightRising account - it's made me come back to the game when it was starting to get dull. She's just an overall friendly, welcoming member. The forum would grow dimmer without her contributions for certain.

And... mulling over my third atm...

[Padme]

I nominate

@Tauriel she did an outstanding job as a moderator and member of neocodex. She gave of her time, talent and treasure. I think it's only fitting of her hard work that she be nominated.

@Prisca She is always kind, helpful and respectful of other memebers. She does a great job with everything she sets out to do on the site. Her participation in competitions and conversation is wonderful. Seeing as she'll be expanding her family and unable to be as active, we should recognize her participation.

@Pyro699 Because he met Arman and live (I think.)

I have a lot of people I want to nominate. It was a great time for participation. All of codex has been fab. You're all maaaaahvelous

By acknowledging this I expect your child to be named Padme*.

*May also name child Jessica, Marie or Isabella**.

**I'm aware your child is to be born a male, I will supercede my rumplestiltskin like nature and say you can name him Anakin.

[Pyro699]

@Pyro699 Because he met Arman and live (I think.)

I am still alive; barely. Was a very very interesting night though xD

I feel like Jessica is a solid name choice.

I will pass on these suggestions to my husband, I am sure he will be thrilled with them

[Strategist]

My third nomination will have to be for @Prisca! For similar reasons to my nomination of @Satsuki, she helps welcome new people and points them in the right direction with constant good advice and is just an all round great person for the forum! Thanks for all that you contribute! Well done

[Romy]

Also Romy. Boy or Girl. I'm not picky.

[Chappy]

>w< Thank you @Scrafty and @Strategist ^w^ You guys are too kind~

[Swar]

Can we have more nominations, please? 4 days left!

[talbs]

Why was he banned anyway?

This. We need more @ lll around here. I laughed every time I saw that avatar. I don't know why, it just brightened my day.
