I started playing in 2001... I miss those days. Neopets basically WAS my childhood. And whenever I come back to play now, as an adult, I feel like I'm always chasing that feeling of being a kid and losing myself for hours in the world of Neopets. Doesn't happen to me anymore, but.. it still feels good to try.

I started Neo in 2005. I remember my first account name and it ended in 2005 so I assume that's what year it was... lol.

I have a pretty poor sense of time, but I remember for certain I've been playing neopets long before galleries were introduced, and shops could set their items at 100k to make them unbuyable. Spent a lot of time glaring enviously at people with 100k Krawk petpets in their shops back in the day.

I owned over 10 UC's in my life and that was before the conversion chaos. I think I started playing in 2002 when the first Neopets commercial popped up on tv.

I've been playing since probably right before the Xwee showed up. Two of my accounts that I've long lost access to are still up somehow. It's been years and the pets there still haven't been pounded strangely enough.

 

Now I'm restarting with three accounts I can actually remember the birthdays to. I have a couple other accounts with some pretty cool pets that I can't get access to right now urgh...

Do you have any idea better than Abrosia?

I would probably start with fixing up Abrosia, especially with the shop pricing feature which has been broken forever. And then fixing up all the other various autoplayers which haven't been updated in years.
 
Beyond repairing programs, I would love to see a dailies automator, scorchy slots autoplayer, and for the challenging, an intelligent food club autobetter. Plenty of interesting stuff that isn't in the program manager.
 
Beyond adding new programs and repairing stuff, it would be nice to see a revamp of the archaic program manager. Update the APIs, make it easier to add new programs and debug existing ones. Add support for use of multiple accounts. Update GUI to reflect the modernist GUI of Windows and Mac. And so on.
 
 
 
 
To be honest, I'm not sure if Neopets is even worth the effort anymore. It's a dying ship. Maybe if Neopets rebounds it might be useful to put in these efforts?

Most active players are old timers who are revisiting or never left from my impression. Kids these days dont want to sit on a pc and play broken flash games and wait for page loads

Well the account I have now is only 6+ years old but I started playing in 01.

My first account was frozen for something I legitimately did not do so I quit for about a year or two and then came back

Been on the site since I was 13 lol. I am 28 now. Was totally legit until they froze my main for cheating..then looked into how I could cheat and found here. It took me 15 years to make 5m NP properly. I made 10m on my first day of ABing...sad really

My current main is a bit over 12 years old! My first main was frozen or that account would have been about 14 years! I've been there for ages! I take a lot of breaks though. There was a good 4-5 year period where I only really logged on monthly to put my pets in the hotel. Im kinda getting back to that point, but the AC keeps me online right now.
