Voting Period: May 12 to March 15 at 8:59 NST

 

Who to nominate: We are looking for someone who is kind, helpful, and has made great contributions to the forum while encouraging activity. You may nominate up to three people.

 

How to nominate: To nominate, either PM me or post here. Your nomination must include the person's username and 2-3 well thought out reasons - for example, explaining how well you think they did contributing to something. Reasons like "because they're cool" will not be counted.

 

How to win: The three users with the most nominations will be voted on at the end of the nomination period. The person with the most votes at the end of the voting period will become May's Member of the Month.

 

Full Rules:

- Do not nominate yourself or ask to be nominated.

- Staff members may be nominated but each individual staff member may only win once every six months.

- Provide 2-3 well thought out reasons as to why you think the user you have nominated should be Member of the Month. If your reasoning is not valid, your nomination may not be considered.

- Post your nomination here or PM me if you would like to be anonymous.

- If you won the previous month, you cannot be nominated.

This award can be achieved by anyone by following the criteria below:

 

- Nominate 3 different people in the current MOTM topic while following the "How to Nominate" criteria.

- Of those 3 nominees, none of them must be members who won within the last three MOTM's.

- Of those 3 nominees, none of them must be staff members (moderators+admins) who won within the last six MOTM's.

- Not retroactively awarded for nominations before November 2014.

I nominate @Rocket for coming back and in full force. Friendly, helpful and runs competitions. This place can be stressful and she navigates it well!!

 

I also nominate @Shannon because she is my queen, she helps people out, is really active in conversations and competitions as well as helping to plan out future ones!!

 

Lastly I nominate @argonate because they've been ridiculously active, they are super sincere and attempt to remember everything about everyone. You rock!

@Eefi I rarely chat with her, but when I do I feel as comfortable as when I talk to my best friends on codex. She's really nice and helpful

I nominate @Padme for her super friendly presence on the forums and positive 'postingness'. She has a way of breaking down walls and helping others feel welcome.

 

@Shannon for similar reasons. She is fun to be around (post-wise) and has shown her commitment to the growth and participation of neocodex via her recent involvement in hosting the beginning of, what is shaping up to be a fabulous, TBL.

I would like to nominate @Alexiel for being way too ridiculously generous with donations to contest prizes, and for just being really friendly and giving in general (see, for example, his Coliseum Giveaway, battlestone giveaway within the same thread, and Birthday Giveaway thread).

 

I also want to nominate @Rocket for similar reasons - her generosity with contest prizes (just speaking from firsthand experience) and excellent job at hosting competitions.

I reiterate my nominations from last month because the 3 of them have continued doing the things they do and I feel they deserve awards to recognize it

 

Alexiel. For generosity in just about any competition. Generosity in FR related things. And lots of activity in blogs and posts

 

Shannon & Padme. For being nice and friendly and being nosy (in a good way) coming up with bizarre questions for us to get to know each other better. Activity on forums and TC. Also co-hosting TBL together and coming up/maintaining the healthy eating thread.
