IDK if I want kids.

I'll be that annoying parent who "tries to act cool".

Right now I feel like I value my freedom and free time way too much to sacrifice it to little satan spawns.

 

But I'm at the age where I should be feeling that urge to pop out babies .. but I just don't feel it. I'm afraid if I ever do decide to have them that I'll regret it.

Maybe one or two. Still a bit undecided. My plan is to wait for my bf to finally finish his degree so we can spend two years or so living without responsibilities (but with money). And then I'm pretty sure I can settle down and raise kids. Hopefully I won't be too old by then.

Everytime I say I don't think I want to have kids, everyone goes 'Oh hush, don't say that, you'll change your mind.' The thought of childbirth (ouch) and carrying a human being in myself makes me really uncomfortable.

 

I'd like to adopt at some point though, I work with some children who I'd dearly love to take away from their parents. They need me more than some egg in my womb does. Having said that, someone told me that when I settle into a stable relationship the urge to have my own children might arise. I guess we'll see.

I think that I would be an absolutely terrible parent so therefore whether I want kids or not doesn't matter. I won't have them to spare them anything I did with a mother like mine. That could change or I could miraculously have a successful pregnancy but otherwise, I'll just do my best to improve the lives of many children through volunteering and the like. I love children but I know I'm immensely selfish.

I'm not entirely sure whether or not my body would be capable of having children at this point, but I've known ever since I was a child myself that I don't want any. I'm terrible with children, especially extremely young ones. I tend to have a quick temper and would probably resort to physical abuse quickly. I know for a fact that I wouldn't make a very good mother.

But animals...that's my soft spot. I'd be perfectly fine with ending up as some sort of crazy dog lady. I need animals in my life in one way or another.

Maybe. But if I do, it'll be in, like, 10 years. And I'd have more than one for sure - I was an only child and a sibling would've been great to have.

Nope, I'm terrible with the kids and I'll probably make a terrible dad. It's early so maybe this mindset would change later.

I thought I'd be a terrible mother, seriously. I was a bad kid, and a stupid teenager. I felt awkward around kids, like what the hell do you do with them? Say hi and then go back to doing whatever you were doing? 

 

I actually have 2 kids though and I would have more. Except both my kids like to be little shits so whenever one of my friends says they want a baby, I just make them babysit. They're enough birth control for anyone. LOOOL.

 

They're actually not bad kids though, they just get bored easily and if they don't have something constant to do, they act out.

I'd like to have kids 3-4 would be my prime number. A lot of money and time is associated to it though so I'd probably end up only having two.

Heck no, i really don't like children but i do think about adopting an older child. Or, ill just become a crazy cat lady and my cats can be my children.

No. I don't like children, I don't like the idea of having one created in my body like some kind of Alien movie, I wouldn't like the time it would take out of my life and career, or the money it would cost.
