To be honest, I don't think Charity Corner is a bad thing at all. More circulation of rare items leads to prices dropping, so more people can achieve their neodreams. And prices do need to go down for a lot of items; after all, hyperinflation was a pretty serious problem in the past. Furthermore, there's finally a use for those thousands of useless junk items, which is another plus. It's just that the minority rich are the most vocal about "Charity Corner is ruining the game!!!!1!1", but for most average players Charity Corner is a godsend. 

I agree. I'm glad for CC and honestly the glitch. xD I'm just sad I'm RS banned. ;-;

Odds are always against us even when TNT fucks up so bad they start giving out +r90 stuff on dailies - deflation lol.

The only way you win this game is selling stuff that everyone wants during a specific time of year -and it helps if you're a hoarder. I didn't manage to make much money out of this last year because I didn't want to get rid of my stuff. And the last time I made a good profit with an event was when that Coincidence thing was new.

 

And even if you were lucky enough to get dozens of super expensive stamps out of this, you would still be fighting against the odds: if you tried to sell it and someone gets butthurt because you refuse their offer, or because you have a rare stamp and they don't, you could end up banned because some douche bag is too jealous and too stupid to play the game the way it must be played.

 

The way I see it: it's better to sell 1k of "King Hagan" for 50k each than to gamble my luck in hopes of getting a 100M stamp. But that's just me, and I'm still gambling anyway, but without expectations, I just do it for the fun of it.

 

 

tl;dr

If you're not having fun doing it, why do you do it at all? Just sell the stuff you have and get the monies, or keep it and wait for the best opportunity to sell to make the most of it, and call it a day
