The error occurs after the list has been loaded from neocodex, when visiting a shop for the first time.

 

I do have the 'sticky fingers' 5% discount obelisk boon, would this cause it?

Yes. You will have to wait till you no longer have the boon, it changes the Shop such that Abrosia can no longer AB with the boon.
