What I did say is that there are some genetic factors as well that lead to increased risk of Type 2, but that it can also be cause outside of any genetic factors due to a sedentary lifestyle and diet.
Genetic risk factor doesn't equal genetic condition though, and it appears, to me, you're conflating the two.
With type 1, you mention risk factors, not a gene mutation that is causal to type 1 diabetes. These distinctions are crucial, especially if you're going to unintentionally, or intentionally, attempt to justify eugenics, or even just argue the possible validity of another person's shit opinion.
