But the guide and scripts to use are from 2016 so is it still safe to use this year? I know score sender always has a chance to ban but I mean relatively speaking.

AC remains unchanged this year really, except for the encryption on scoresending-thing, the thing that the SS program is being updated for right now. So you'd have the usual chance of being banned.

 

Some of us negate the risk simply by scoresending only on shells, and say, using AOB codes on accounts you want to keep instead. I would recommend that for a new player. Have linked to you the guides for AOB on Discord previously.

This. Took me about 2-3 hours to max YYB with an AOB. For any accounts I care about I always AOB YYB. Haven't been frozen yet SSing on the side games on days that I feel like it, but I don't do that frequently.

Not true. They have been making changes every year to the AC pages/games.

I meant in the sense of the process listed in that guide, being the same. The scoresender programs have continued to be updated every year, after all.
