Hm. My psych textbook something about giftedness... I can't find it now. Oh, here says 50-70 is mildly retarded, and take the exact opposite side of 100 takes you to 130-150 being mildly genius... O_o I've scored between 140 and 160 on online tests but I've never been tested for real...

I get straight As and I only work when in a panic at the end of semesters ( :p ), and I'm a standardized test whore. I LOVE tests. Oh man. I got a 29 on my PACT and even though that's not that great it made me happy.

oh, okay, I'll show you lot my silly schedule, it's very generic though:

    Chemistry - A- (hanging in there :D )
    American History - A
PE - A (bah! It's a law in Illinois that I have to take it!)
Consumer Ec - A (worst. class. ever.)
Study Hall/ Hall Runner - (I get to walk around and talk to teachers and kids and make copies. Yay!)
    English III - A (they wouldn't let me skip ahead. <_< )
Spanish III - A (this class sucks, just because of the kids in it.)
Math IV - A (yay, I took a college class to skip a year of math and it's easy!)

For me it depends :) I never really do much work(ie I'm lazy and I spend most lessons talking), but I have a knack for tests. I didn't revise for my gcses (besides maths) and got 1A* 7 As, 2 Bs, which I thought was pretty good :p

I don't get the American school thing. I mean, wtf are the S.A.Ts? In England, we have the SATS (Standard Assessment Tests) which are random nationwide tests you have to do in years 2, 6 and 9, and then we have GCSEs in year 11 (nationwide exams everyone has to take in however many subjects you're doing, around 8-12 of them) . We then have AS levels and A levels. (That you take 3-4 of). What do you guys do?

Ah, Ki'm, a lovely question. :) Every state has varying achievement tests - in Illinois you take the IGAP at different ti'mes when you're young. I don't remember it much.

The SAT and ACT are college entrance examinations - your university. You can take either one no matter where you are now, but it used to be that the coasts would more often take the SAT, and the midwest takes the ACT. They're both given by different companies so they're really different. The SAT is out of 1600, and the ACT is out of 36. The SAT used to only have a Verbal and Math section, but they expanded it to include writing, and the ACT tests you on Writing, Reading, Math, and Logical Reasoning (science applications).

My sophomore year I took the Pre-ACT, which is out of 32 since hard questions are taken off. I got a 29 which is alright. I also took an SAT on my own and got a 1350, which really isn't that great, but it's acceptable for a sophomore. :p

Only a few months ago my school administered the Pre-SAT. I'm sorta well prepared, seeing as I already took the real one.

I took one in 6th grade, because I was chosen to; and I got 1126 -.-. It was a real SAT test, but it obviously didn't count.  I won an award at the John Hopkins award thingy o.O.

See, your school system is weird <_< So are the SATs not per subject? To get into Uni here, you have to do A levels applicable to the course you're taking, and get a mini'mum set of grades that are also applicable- for example, if you want to be a vet, you have to do chem, biol, physics/maths and get AAB or higher.
