For no earthly reason my laptop someti'mes (80% of the ti'me?) refuses to resume from hibernation and si'mply crashes between the BIOS Save-to-Disk manager screen and Windoze...
It appears that Windoze is to blame, but I need to make 100% sure first - formatting hdd and reinstalling OS is no fun...

Also, IF it resumes in the first place, the PCMCIA cards don't resume properly - they must be stopped and removed prior to hibernation to work without completely resetting windoze  :p

Any ideas if there's anything I can do except doing a reformat? <_<

Just for reference, here's what I'm running:
Compal N30W-15
Hibernation mode: Save to disk
No battery
Windows 98 SE
Xircom 10mbps ethernet card
