Since the old rules were getting just that - old, the admins have decided to rain our bombs on them and give them a small update. A lot of redundancies were removed and definitions clarified. Here are the new rules, please read them and comply. Thank you.

Yeah, whats up with the underage thing? I mean, some of the smartest people on codex (and the most prolific in their swearing) are under thirteen. I get the fact that the final rule doesn't actually do anything, its just warning parents and guardians that swearing is common here, but still, isn't it a little demeaning to minors?

I had a 20 pm chat with you over wh I warned you quit arguing with it or I will increase your warning more... besides that I didnt use your name because I was allowing some people to have dignity left... anyways redlion I think it is to keep the gov off our back due to that one law.. like online privacy rights or something I dont rememebr but most sites do ask if your 13 or not... like neopets wont let you talk to people on their site w/o parental approval  if your not 13... its jsut some law... lol

The whole point was totally different, and the person who re-did the rules doesn't live in US and has little knowledge of US law

Honestly I never even read the rules of any site or forum I signed up not even my school's rules..lol.
