no one ever answered me what a good program to detect keyloggers
The problem with keyloggers are most are undetectable because they are homemade (if the programmer is good). And most anti-viruses wont be able to find it. Your best bet is to look in your processes (ctrl + alt +delete > process) and delete anythign that looks weird (make sure to google the process to make sure it isnt essential to running your computer)

that's something that's pretty hard to do, by it's very nature all windows aplications capture all events (key_down being one of them) so detecting an app that's logging those is pretty hard
then there are other ways of getting logged into (cookies, reg entries, cache'd web pages etc...)
so basically it's hard to capture that bit, but the easier bit to detect is the bit when they try and send the data - there are many ways to detect this (and it's worth using as many as you can)
Because most home made keyloggers will be disguised as something else (like an AB)
The most I'mportant is a good application/rule based firewall! (I use Outpost - in this firewall you can setup a rule per application - ie what websites you let the application connect to) (I have a hardware firewall to deal with incomming, but I think its worth to have both)
if you've got Outlook/Exress you want to get all the fixes (and maybe an AV that has plugins for it that stop other applications using the engine to send e-mails)
you can also get certain malware products that monitor certain event types (usually used to detect trojan horses and the like)
the best way to be sure is to only use programs from trusted souces (ie only use Certified programs)
