I just saw the Ring in Japanese. Not scary at all. So boring... The American one is better.

I think it's so stupid how they remake the films for America though. The Grudge was way better in Japanese, even though you didn't have the satisfaction of Sarah Michelle Gellar dying at the end.

I think the bit that doesnt scare you when whatching a film in another language is having to read the subtitles, and it stops you from seeing the whole movie properly.
