Well that's something different, if you learn how to write programs, and you use that knowedge to build a new program that has not been done before, I would consider that to be fine, you've only learned one of the stepping stone's to acquire what you've accomplished.

I'm more referring to the direct viewing or downloading of tutorials how to exploit this or that, programs that automate things for you, etc..

Ah, then I agree. Ripping source code (or getting it with permission, it amounts to the same thing) is stupid. You've basically done nothing then.

Also, I only added like 2 hackers, V_Team was 3 PEOPLE! not 4, Vader, Viet and VIets brother were the only members. There MIGHT have ben 4, but nobody probally knew about it as I know v_team was inviting more people into there team

And yea eggy ur right, I still got lots to add, I forgot about yesterday, dupe day, and a few other "glitch" days.

    Eggy get on msn :K

Yeah, I know. Emoof had the idea first in May at Neofreaks. Its just sockopen exploited it so much it got patched :D . Well he made a macro that used the exploit.

That particular exploit I didn't find myself, I created the first program to abuse it though, which led to the massive amount of people being able to exploit it with ease, and it basically publically released the method it was abusing.

I have had numerous other exploits I've discovered, and written the program for; although not quite as well known as Dupe Day, they still left their impact.

I can't believe no one mentioned Neohacks and Neopian Hackers. Those were the good ol' times a few years back.

Well, it does explain lots of things about what has happened in the past of Neopets' darkside of their members.

    Keep in mind:
Contrary to what many people claim, no one has ever hacked into Neopets, accessed user information, accounts or usernames. The ONLY means by which a user can have an account stolen is when they inadvertently or intentionally gives away their password.

    :p

    Maybe they're just stupid?

I have no idea whether anyone has hacked into Neopets' database yet but I'm sure that we have accessed user information before. Anyone remembered the neojump exploit that allowed us to see users' email, DoB, ZIP code, etc.? Those were the goldmines.
