Removed the file, and pasted the hwole thing. Orry if this falls under to advertising :-x

Hey everyone, this is Tr3v0r aka FonkeyMonkey... some of you may know me on NeoPets from my accounts such as simply_1337 or runninginto... well, I have decided to write a hackers article of people who hack, cheat and scam neopets players or Neopets in general.

For starters, I will tell you about Puppetz and Mary_Jhane, Mary_Jhane was adams "girlfriend" as I like to call it, she was very smart. She had adam right under her show and him kissing her behind. She could get out of anything that she did. She was a pretty big scammer at the time and a well known player... But adam was smart, he got rid of her in early 2000. Or possibly 2001. After she got tossed, she disappeared... nobody knew where she went... she just "vanished". Some say she still plays, others think she dont...

Soon after Mary disappeared, Puppetz came to neopets. Puppetz was a hacker. He was probally the biggest 1 at that time as any other hackers were probally unknown nobodys, exluding Vader who I will talk about later on in this article. Ah yes, puppetz was a legit player at 1 point... He was very well known, but 1 day. he got FROZEN! He was pissed... he lost alot of NPs... So, he became a hacker. Now puppetz created the first neopets hacksite/cheat site on neopets. His was the first. Now puppetz was hacking alot of famous accounts. *Jasmine, Helen... etc". But 1 day, a guy named "ad0" came into the play. He within 1 hour, took out puppetz's cheat site. Puppetz got HACKED by Ad0! He got OWNED! Although puppetz was beat, he swore revenge on ad0 and on neopets... which has yet came to play.

During the period of 2002-2004 there was an account named "v_team" Vader, Viet and Viets brother. V_Team was in competition with Girofalcon, I dont know if this is for sure, but thats what I was told, as there pets are uproller and lowroller... SO they were obviously in competition. So, out of the 3 members of v_team, 1 of them was a hacker, the main source of incom for their account. Vader was this person. Vader was a decent hacker, he knew his stuff and could own anyone, including Jasmine or Helen or Sera. Nobody knew for sure what happened to V_Team, they got iced 1 day. They aswell as the others were BD Chat regs at 1 point. V_Team was a pretty rich team, probally 1 of the top 5.

During 2003-2005, lots of new neo cheat sites came into play. Neocodex, OGCS *hacking Site I belonged to*, Eliteneo, 3volutionize, Thygamergheaven, icedaccounts and quite alot more. There was also 1 site called "Digibliss" Digibliss was a hacking and cheating site for neopets. They were probally 1 of the biggest, and they hated members of codex with a passion. 1 time, neo_grl offered 15mil pure to anyone who could take out neocodex, boy did that fail. The worst that happened was a dos. Anyways, Some of these sites are still up, and some sites are gone and some are still here today. Digibliss eventually fell, and lots of there administrators got owned. At 1 point, some of the members of digibliss I think it was, hacked Neopets. This was some time in 2003 I think.

Ah yes, this is the best part. 4/3/04 - 4/4/04. That date, is when some guy named ad0 hacked neopets database and owned everyone! Including the richest accounts. Ad0 is a very experienced hacker, he could hack anything if he wanted 2. He probally could hack neopets right now if he wanted 2. ANyways, on this date, all the items of the rich peole were given away, there accounts got frozen and they also got owned. Lots of people lost ALOT of things that TNT has never returned yet. Why did ad0 hack neopets is probally the most common question. Well nobody knwos for sure but probally because Adam is a penis licking twat.

Right now in the present, we have alot of cheat sites...
NeoCodex
3volutionize
Neofreaks
neostrike
sockopen
icedaccounts
thygamerheaven
neozane

Those are just afew, I msure there alot more. Anyways, wh ydo we all hate TNT so much? Simply because they ice for no reason. All the players that once played legit, all got iced unfairly and turned to the dark side. Neopets is out of control with the freezing. Freezing legit players just for the heck of it. Thats why we turned evil and plotted revenge, because you all svck.

Words you should know:
Hacker: Someone who hacks, "BLackmagic, linux, C++"
Cracker: Someone who cracks neopets accounts "Trojans, accountcrackers, keyloggers, cookiegrabbers"
Scammer: "Someone who uses alternatives like convincing someone to give u there pass or to give you some items to borrow and take them and run"
Neopets Cheaters: People who hate TNT with a passion and want to piss in there mouth but cant so we exploit there site.

Well, this basically concludes my "Hackers Dictionary", Any questions? Add me on msn @ [email protected]

lol you forgot to mentiont he biggest scam of all time in neopets. Remember the "your neopoints will be duplicated to a max of 999,999,999" I think that was easily one of the biggest scams and alot of ppl fell for it. That was when I played like 4yrs ago.

Anyways, nice start on your compilation; do you have ad0's e-mail address? I had it while still using my previous usernames, don't have it anymore. There are a lot of people who own ad0, he's a "one trick pony", and couldn't repeat the luck he had before. Moose, Jessica, Aerox, stauntx, zDawg are respectable 'game hackers' who know what they're talking about.

I definately remember ad0. I was talking to one of his friends on aim when he actually commited the acts. It was really interesting. The friend would say, "go to the money tree, hes going to put 5 cool neggs in there in 2 min" and it would happen. I really wish I had saved the convo.

    *tear* God bless hackers.

Whats even more interesting would be the truth. Most of that was vagueries and half-truths. For instance, v_team was four people, not three. Vader, puppetz and the rest were not 'hackers', they were cheaters. Autobuying is not hacking <_< The only true hacker to ever do some serious damage to neopets was ad0. Although certain people have been... experimenting with extreme server overload programming (see alias' post) and other means to completely screw up neopets. There were tons of famous accounts that cheated, but very few of them actually hacked.

Eggy, I don't know what you consider hacking, but cracking an md5 encryption of a password doesn't exactly count <_<

Hacker is not something that should be define. I do not even stereotype hackers the way most people do. Hackers to me are internet philosophers. They are people that want to either do it for the rush and adrenaline just like athletes and rockstars do, which usually involves obtaining ROOT access to something.

Crackers to me are 'Simplistic thinkers' that are a level ahead of the newbies, but still newbies themselves in a way. They dont have the same thrill philosophers obtain through Root access. Crackers are usually very insecure themselves.

Neopets cheaters do not exploit neopets. Neopets Cheaters simply use macros other users created or they created and repeat the proccess for an amount of time.

You know, your definition of hacker is quite unique, but its very truthful. I find that most hackers (once they've reached a certain tier of ability [which would exclude crackers and such]) don't care about the material rewards anymore. Like the people that make e-mail viruses? They aren't making any money off of it, they're doing it for the thrill, for the fun.

'Most' is what I forget to add on there. The fact is if your just needing a password, then you dont need security to open a bruteforcer up.

Alright, well, since this topic has mostly become about 'hacking', I my aswell throw in my two cents before the thread is closed.

Most of the hackers are quite old now, and, a good percentage of them are in jail, or working for governments and corporations, and no offence, but more than likely, not playing Neopets. Richard Stallman is a prime example, he was around before passwords existed, before programming for MIT's Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, and, now is actively being invited to United Nations' International Security Conferences.

I consider very few(less than 50) people on the internet to be 'hackers'. Any kid that knows what a search engine is can type in; 'how to steal passwords', and he now has access to a couple trojans and a key logger, he must be a hacker! No. What irritates me is that these internet (for lack of a better word) 'newbies' throw the word hacker around to these children who keylog each other. I don't understand how abusing someone's trust is 'hacking' (or 'cracking' for that matter).

Generally though, the word is so misused and misunderstood these days, that the word is hardly definable. If you've ever gone to Google and typed any of the following words in any of your searches, you may be considered a hacker by todays standards; 'password', 'hack', 'vulnerability', 'script', 'download'; it's sad, but true. In my opinion, if you are using any form of information you have found on the internet, whether it be a program, script, direct tutorial, vulnerability, or exploit and used it against someone or something else, you are not and cannot be considered a 'hacker'.

Thats a little extreme. Using Any form of information found on the internet disqualifies you from being a hacker?

For the most part, yes. If you're just going to look up how to do something, and apply the exact knowledge, you have done nothing but steal someone else's idea on how to accomplish what you did. You did nothing but do what was laid out in front of you to do, like a manual.

I can see I'll have to use an example.

    EX:

I learn how to code basic Inet in VB from an online tutorial. I then figure out how to create a neopets login feature using Inet that can be added to anyone's program.

Now, obviously, this has already been done. But in the example, you're using information taken from the internet to accomplish something unique. I don't see how building off of someone else's work (I.e. Inet) to get something new and awesome (none of our programs would work without a login) that works and is your own work.

Well that's something different, if you learn how to write programs, and you use that knowedge to build a new program that has not been done before, I would consider that to be fine, you've only learned one of the stepping stone's to acquire what you've accomplished.

I'm more referring to the direct viewing or downloading of tutorials how to exploit this or that, programs that automate things for you, etc..
