used to be my goal, but after some calculation, at the same rate of increasing, at size 5000, it will cost 1 mil to upgrade.   

whats the highest shop size you guys ever got to? mine probably 50.

its been my experience the bigger the shop the more likely I'm not gonna go to it....if I'm looking for a single item, I dont want to wait while a million things load and have to search through hundreds of items to find the one thing I want...I like little shops where I can get what I want really fast

My shop size is somewhere around 75 at the moment, my goal was 1000. But there is no chance of that!

If someone would post the formula (I know SOMEONE here knows it), that'd help a bunch .

The formula is:
(ShopSize - 1) x 200

(9999-1)x200= 1,999,600 np

alombar42 has a shop size of 3142 which costs 628,200 NP. I don't think he owns the biggest shop.

3142 sounds like takes few billions to get there.

I'm not sure what the fist shop costs so this number is rough.

986,902,400 np +/- (based on the formula above), would be the cumulated total.

I'm a tad bit confused. So from level 9998 to 9999 it costs 1,999,600 NP? If that's the case, darn! I was about to take out all my cash and make the biggest shop in Neopia.

my shop is at 40 right now, and has been since the last ti'me I emptied my SDB, that was a long ti'me ago, so I only needed room for 200 items.  now however, I have a dilema in that I wanted to take out all of my items at once and sell them in a huge sale (I have over 1500 of 120 different items) unfortunately, I recently realized how much it is to make your shop bigger.  just for me to get room for 5 more items, its gonna cost me 8000.  thats ridiculous.  I guess TNT dont want people to have TOO large shops for some reason.  also, I know there is one guy who has almost every item that exists.  his shop is GiGANTIC.
