Awwwh!! It's self-preservation hun, I don't want you to do, just I don't want me to die either :p
Ewww, don't say things like that to your elders :p makes them squeemish. Seriously >-< It's fine to be curious and all that and I'm aware I probably seem like a prude, but it's soooo gross at 14, I mean 16 is the -first- year someone is allowed to have sex, so I mean even that is pretty young when you consider how long we live for. I seriously can't understand why your so eager...And on the pedo side of things, you went in a chat room? O_o I thought they'd shut all those down because of situations like yours...

I've had sex over 5 times in the past year.

'I got a penis, I intend to use it'

Could suggest rape, which isnt a joking matter <_<

The thought of rape has never crossed my mind and never will.

Ugh!! That is...ugh!! -_- -Why- is it acceptable for boys to be like that? I'm going to leave this little conversation before I get a warning or something, I'm still new o-O I have no clue where the boundries are in forum-posting and I don't intend to find out with a warning or something...

That's because you ought to know better.

And I think 12 is the absolute youngest someone should have sex, but frankly it's up to them.

Because at 12 you're what...year 7 or 8? You're still a child, only just started secondary school. Not even a teenager. You should be enjoying that time of your life as a child. Leave the growing up for a couple of years.

Who ever said that sex can't be part of someones life as a child?
It's just a social taboo that noone ever thinks to question. I can see the problems with being taken advantage of by older people, but within age groups I really cannot see an issue given proper education.
Twelve year olds, generally, are a lot more emotionally mature than many people imagine.

*returns with bells and whistles because the lovely Ali says she can and things ^-^*

I must agree with Ali o-O Twelve is far too young. A lot of girls at that age haven't matured physically for reproduction to be possible. I mean I'm very aware sex is no longer just about making children, but it is quite foul that people can do such acts when they're still fully dependant on their parents, I mean if people started doing that people could be Grandparents by the time they were 24 or something ridiculous. That would help the population rise o-O.

Now, if only I could remember some of the things I learnt in my environmental science lessons, we are a bottle neck population. Where there is alot more younger people than there is to old people.

    I think thats right xD

I think it's the other way around chuck, I remember seeing a program about the old people and the amount of people collecting pension to the amount of people that're working. I don't know though, thinking about history and that it'd make more sense to have more young people because lots of older people died in the wars and things o-o.

Which reminds me that having sex too young can actually do physical damage to girls because they haven't matured physically yet...

Really? Well there we are then, there are reasons why 16 is the cut off point for sex.

Actually, going back to something said before Joe, about the maturity of peoples, at 12 they aren't going to have the maturity of an adult o-O. So whether or not they're more mature then people believe, they still have a heck of a way to go, if they didn't puberty just wouldn't be needed o-o.

And a lot of the time people think they're mentally ready to handle it and they're not.
I've jumped in halfway through so if that's a repetition of something already said, I do apologise.

Erm, right...16 the cut off point? You obviously generalise too much.

I started having sex last year, yippe I know, and I was mature and physically ready to have sex, still am infact, and I know ALOT of people started before me and were ready.

You can't just say X age is the age to have sex, it all depends on the individual, and Ali you say a 12 year old is a still a child, but so are you in my eyes, and therefore shouldn't be having sex. Sounds stupid no? It is, it all depends on the circumstances.

(And btw I wasn't trying to make myself look older, since..you're a year or two older then me :p)

    Oh Ian

What's black and blue and doesn't like sex?

    A rape victim.

    See, rape is funny.

How old are you Frizzle? o-o

And I mean 16 being the cut off point for legal consent in England o-O I have no clue what it is in America or anywhere else, though I'm guessing higher in America because you can't drink and that until you're older o-o'

I actually think that sex is just not taken seriously enough anymore, it's meant to be the ultimate way of showing someone you love them, or used to be anyway, that's how my parents taught it when I was a child, it wasn't something you did after a few days of going out with someone in high school because it's the thing to do and you can brag about how good your partner is and how many partners you've had and things.

I mean I guess, being female, I do see it differently. Because you lads are like cheered on for it amongst your peers, yaaaay, you've slept with 5 people over the last year Tarchy, props. *eyeroll* But girls don't get the same, they're named for it and less respected, so I guess I just don't understand why you'd want to do it.

However, Tarchy, 5 times in the last year? I sooo know the 'make up three partners' trick lads have, quit trying to look big :p

You can't say, in the same paragraph, that it is so young that the girls can't have children, and then go on to say that people could be grandparents by the age of 24. Bit of a contradiction.

As for the physical harm point, that's why the education needs to stay in place.
Like someone (Lee?) said, it's all about the individual, and it's the individual that should have the say.

And also, noones advocating sleeping around. Sleeping with lots of people is a totally different thing to sleeping with someone lots, and earlier.

    I'm 16 dear. I started underage.

See, in my eyes sex is no big deal, I made a quote somewhere, when you see two dogs humping, it takes the magic out of sex.

Sex is natural thing and it happens every day, all the time, it's not magical, I mean would classify urinating as magical and speical? No, yes it can be between two people who love each other, and I agree with that (unforuntaly never had the experience, all my previous encounters have been one night stands :() but the act of sex itself isn't.

I believe the age of consent in America varies from state to state, from 14-18.

I don't brag about sex, I'll tell anyone who wants to listen on what I've done and how long etc.. it's just the facts of life. I'm no stud, but I am who I am, so I don't care if I've had sex with one girl or a thousand girls, I'm just looking for that one person who I can do it with and acutally feeling something emotionally and spiritually..hehe...I'm such a softie.

I can and have. Some girls can't have children, others can, I can give examples for both but that would be embarrassing for both me and you and any other unfortunate soul that read o-O.
