Well my friend started having sex at 12 and he's fine, other then fact he's a nympohmanic (sp?) and will flirt/have sex with ANYTHING.

But again, depends on the individual.

How old are you Frizzle? o-o

And I mean 16 being the cut off point for legal consent in England o-O I have no clue what it is in America or anywhere else, though I'm guessing higher in America because you can't drink and that until you're older o-o'

I actually think that sex is just not taken seriously enough anymore, it's meant to be the ultimate way of showing someone you love them, or used to be anyway, that's how my parents taught it when I was a child, it wasn't something you did after a few days of going out with someone in high school because it's the thing to do and you can brag about how good your partner is and how many partners you've had and things.

I mean I guess, being female, I do see it differently. Because you lads are like cheered on for it amongst your peers, yaaaay, you've slept with 5 people over the last year Tarchy, props. *eyeroll* But girls don't get the same, they're named for it and less respected, so I guess I just don't understand why you'd want to do it.

However, Tarchy, 5 times in the last year? I sooo know the 'make up three partners' trick lads have, quit trying to look big :p

That is just a stupid movie thing ;). How many times you've had sex is nothing to brag about, but is fun to brag about xD.

Show that it isn't working?

All who have fathered/mothered an underage lovechild, raise your hands now.

Whilst we're at it, all who can say for an absolute certainty that they don't have an STD of some sort, raise your hand too. Because sex ed teachs about the disease too o-O not just the children side of things. So yah ^-^ We can have an accurate little...raise hand thingy o-o :p

It sooo isn't a stupid movie thingy. I live in Blackpool, I think it's either the worst in Britain or Europe for under-age teen pregnancies, which means a lot of sex is going on. I know full well that it isn't just a movie thing, so please don't try and tell me different. I have lived through high-school, I have witnessed the bragging lads and the slagged-off girls...

Nymphomaniac I think. But it doesn't matter, it's satyriasis in boys. :)

Must be a boy thing or rather, a not-me thing. :p... I regret being physically close to anyone to whom I've been physically close.
As for movies - ditto Eeyore except it's Brandon and Hartlepool areas not Blackpool! They're pretty bad.

Does that include Eli and Amy?

Make it 5 then...although they're the only people that actually had a child as a result. And I don't have a problem with that so much, they love each other, they're still together, they obviously adore Darcy and life is working for them.
But I know of 3 more pregnancies, none of them remotely wanted. 1 of them is so upsetby the whole affair they're now not having sex until they're married because they're worried and they don't feel ready anymore.

Alright, fair enough.
But we can't use them as examples, because they're not here, and we can't discuss what happened with them.

Still, I can see I'm not going to change your mind, and ultimately, the law isn't going to change either. I'm just a minority :p

Bwahaha! Does that mean the girls side have won this little debate? :p Twas fun though ^-^. And I guess, taking your point of view into consideration, if people a bit under the consent thing are ready to have responsible sex and things, it's fine. My originaly irritation with this topic was just because the scenario described by Tarchy was so careless and pathetic, and he was 14 as well o-o. But yah, I can understand about the whole...individual being ready thing you said ^-^

Ironically, I've just seen three girls outside who looked younger than me and one of them was wheeling a pushchair.

... I think they could well be the same girls who pee in our garden sometimes, actually... O_o

Poor parents who trusted those girls with their kid!
The people round here do nothing but pee in the garden and hit our windows with apples/eggs/iron bars.

Haha, they were chavs, I think assumptions are safely made *snort* Sorry, personal hatred to chavs ^-^'''

If they were girls that peed in the front garden though, I honestly can't see the parents trusting her with a child o-O, I mean to have the mentality to pee in such silly places you can't be the most responsible teenager...

Pshaw, they don't manage to break them; the only window they can get at with the iron bars is made of industrial glass blocks. :p Although someone has been arrested outside our house for possession of firearms.
Oh, and advice from an example of someone who lived near me - don't wear skimpy clothes... last year a girl died on the field next to us; she got hypothermia because she wasn't wearing enough. O_o

Seriously, I don't know how the population around here hasn't died out already...

But I digress. :p

Brandon, UK, near Durham. Durham is a nice town, Brandon is not. :p

Nahh, Durham itself is okay! ... except on Friday nights.

... not that I'm going to Durham. I was considering going to Newcastle (or Hartlepool, which is worse... you get drug dealers on school playing fields there)
