True. I don't care too much about underage sex if people know what theyre doing, and high school does suck. But age of consent is usually right for the majority.

The problem is most underage people don't know what they are doing... Else this wouldn't be such a big issue today. I obviously don't know how many teen pregnancies there are, and how many teens have STDs, but somehow I don't think it's a low number. It seems to be a thing that people only learn not to do by first making the mistake to learn from, and I think that's something we need to remedy.

And the thing about age of consent (I just made a topic about it, lol) is that it differs like EVERYWHERE, people differ everywhere, etc.

Yeah, when I had sex I didnt know half the shit that I know today. The other strange factor is the age of sex is getting lower. I just had a 10 year old (literally) walk up to me and tell me "hey faggot ive had more CENSORED then you ever will so dont try giving me advice on how to work out" when I was just telling him how to use equipment properly.

While I found out this was untrue later, He was surely not a virgin =/ thats...crazy.

Personally, I don't care much either way, as far as abortion goes And I don't think abortions are necessarily bad either. The thing I don't like is underage or permiscuous sex, so when those topics are on I get right into it, lol. But yeah, I do think there are valid reasons for abortion... *hopes Tetiel doesn't beat him later*

A lot of times birth control... that is NOT a valid reason... that's why I get so pissed over it. And to Frizzle... how many times do I have to say this? A condom breaks and the pills don't work... that is why you use AT LEAST 3 different kinds of birth control if you really don't want to get pregnant.

Seriously, it's very hard to find 3 types of contraception, most people only know about 2. Plus with the added cost, and before you say you can go to a doctors, most people are embarrassed to go to a doctors.

Pill, Condom, VCF, Liquid Spermicide, Diaphram, Withdrawl, Rythm Cycle not to mention all of the slightly more permanent options: IUDs, Nuva Rings, Vasectomy, Tubes Tied, Estrogen Shots and implants, etc etc etc... its not difficult at all to find these things, to buy them or get them from clinics. I thought of all of these as I typed, with a bit of reaserch I'm sure there is more.
If you are too embarrased to go see a doctor for your health and protection, you really shouldn't be having sex anyways. You think I like going to the gyno? No, its painful and embarrassing, but I am 19 years old, given birth, and sexually active, I go every year for checkups no matter what.

With all of these options and services, there is NO excuse. And this is coming from someone that's had an accidental pregnancy. I do not excuse myself, nor will I excuse anyone else.

These things do cost a bit of money, and most people having sex can't afford it freqeuntly, I mean, these are teenagers, i.e people having sex more then a few times a day, so can't afford much other then the pill and condom.

it's soo hard to say..some people who have been raped and get pregant don't want to have the baby of their rapist, but people who have been raped and raised the child who was the effect of it, the child has grown to be a very famous person who has made a difference in society. really hard call..
