Well, basically as the title suggests, design an AutoBuyer! Tell me what you guys want in an AutoBuyer, what's not useful, what I should focus more time on, etc.. I don't play Neopets, and I don't really know what needs to be done, it buys an item, alright, I understand what it should do roughly, and I can write the basics of one without a problem.

Do you guys want a Banker / Tiller / Shop / Safety Deposit Box features and all that? Tell me what you want, or what you think is missing from other AutoBuyers, which AutoBuyers I should be looking at, etc... speed will not be a problem, this should be by far the fastest AutoBuyer available (according to my tests anyways, I won't get all technical on you guys). Is multiple accounts important? Anything and everything, I want to hear it. =P

Eh, a built in APer that is accurate would be nice ;) You being Sockepen, I'm sure you already have it checking restock ban. Other than that, I can't really think of much. :)

Alright I'll throw one of those in, and everything else you said too. Do you need more than 6 accounts logged in at one time?

Hrmmmmmmmm, that might be a bit tricky, I'll look into it though, a lot of the words Neopets uses aren't in the dictionary, so I might have to make my own dictionary file.

Right now I have sketched out the following tabs, tell me what needs to be added / removed:

    Accounts
    Options
    AutoBuyer
    Banker
    Pricer
    Stocker
    Trainer
    Logs

    I can see the log file getting very difficult to keep up with and read though, might need like;
    [12:00pm | Pricer] Priced newly bought <item>
[12:01pm | Trainer] Trained Little Billy in Strength

So it says what part of the program it logged. =P

In Java it's really easy to create multiple threads though, so I can have it doing 50 things at the exact same thing, whereas something like Visual Basic has to do one thing, then wait to do the next, so multiple things is really limited. =P

Maybe have an ABer with an Auto pricer built in separately, with a separate log as to not get confusing. Also, alot of the new age abers now have a "Bought in 0.715 ms" setting to display the speed of your buy. Threads is a must, though.
Ohh! And an "AB for __ min, rest for __ min." As in, after abing for 50 min (or whatever you set it for) it takes a 20 min break to prevent RS bans.
    *Will suggest more*

Oooo I'm on a roll with new things. I think there should be a items bought per hour thing at the bottom it would be a cool thing where people can like compare there things. It would update every hour at the bottom of the program.

Could you add a little area where you can get NP out of your Shop Till? Like a TxtBox and just a CmdButton where you can retrieve it.

I have 1 word for you! FAST that is all that counts. Under .5 second buy times and your golden. ;)

On a decent connection that is.... I have an 8.8MB/s if you need a speed tester I can do it. I use another ab won't say which and I get consistant .5-.7s buys..

Why not have multiple logs you can tab through?

It's wise to use proxies if you're IP banned.

That sounds awesome from what youve been saying, good work on having the patience, however if its got a shop stocker it should place items that are to much to be put into the trading post or something.

Well I can't really think of anymore ideas than what people have said. :/ Add like a daily doer or something to it, in case some people are too lazy to run more than one program, but heck it's an AB and does anyone even do dailies anymore? :p
It looks like a very nice AB, will it be a NeoCodex exclusive release?

    Just a question
Is it gonna be multi account with multi threading or multi cookies?

It's going to have approximately 3-20+ threads running. One thread for the GUI, a thread for the clock, a thread for every account, a thread for every thing the account tries to do that the first can't do simultaneously, ie; if someone wanted to restock at 35 different shops, train their pets, use their bank and till at the same time, oh and doing that on 6 different accounts... =P

Will it be a NeoCodex exclusive release?

    Of course. =]

    *Bump*

    Keep the ideas coming, and in order, from top to bottom, what should the tabs read? So far it looks something like this;

    http://img.photobuck...aarr/sJAB18.jpg

Note that this is going to change obviously, I've just been dragging things about to get a feel for how it's all going to piece together in my head.

EDIT: Options is becoming Settings, it sounds much better. =P

Any idea on how fast this may be? I assume faster then a VB program since vb is rather slow....
