Just wondering, I know it's not plausible to prove a side, but what were your opinions on using physical force against a girl?

I'd personally never do anything other than maybe hold her down/try to keep her away, never go on the offensive, unless my life/something important was at stake.

Just trying to see y'alls views on the subject.

like where i come from if you hit a women (doesnt matter, even if she shot you) people would treat you like if your a raper or child molestor

I understand your point of view.

However, as a woman, I feel that there are women who hide behind their ovaries too much. They use it as an excuse for not doing anthing unpleasant (like getting hit after they hit someone).

Now, if a man just hits a woman (without provocation), he should be castrated, but even though he is a man, he still has the right to defend himself if he is attacked by ANYBODY, man or woman.

I think anyone should be allowed to defend themselves against anyone if needs be.
A man hitting a woman unprovoked, i.e. not in an act of self defense - that's not good. But then again, so is a woman hitting a man in the same way.

but if she poses an imminent threat(same girl has a knife ), i know how to defend myself with minimum harm..dodging maybe..

Ahh, I'd end the situation faster than you. Hitting for fun is fine, as long as it doesn't hurt. Hitting in a serious way with fists, I'd defend myself vigorously to the point at which I stopped being attacked - if this results in knocking someone out, or disabling them, that's fine, but if they stopped attacking before those points were reached, so would I. If someone had a knife, I'd defend myself in the same way.

If someone was pointing a gun at me, I'd do as I was told. Unless I could see a really obvious, foolproof way of defending myself, which is possible but highly unlikely (especially at long range!)

I think it's also a problem that women don't know how to fight; whereas most men learn those sort of tactics playing around as kids.

What always pisses me off is when two chicks get into a fight - especially at a school - and no one steps in. It's like guys are afraid to or whatever, which I think is just stupid.

Now, I don't know where I picked it up, but I like to hit. But it's not a meaningful or hard hit - it's like, my boyfriend takes a crack at me, and I hit him on the arm in response. Normal, right?

But the thing is, when I first started doing it, it kinda freaked him out. He didn't know how to respond to the fact that I was hitting him, and he would use it against me whenever we had any arguments. Something about how I shouldn't hit him because it might mean a lot more to him than me. And of course, I was baffled, because I didn't know how to respond to that!

Add to the fact that his mom saw me do it, once (my mom was in the car, too...but he was deliberately embarassing me!) and after the fact, told him that if he ever needed to bury my body, she'd help. A fact which he announced with great glee. And of course, I can't tell if she's joking or not...I never can...she is such an odd woman...

But, the point is, I've trained him off any reservations. If I hit him, he'll come hit me back (remember, though, only on the arm or whatever)...if I hit him harder, though, he doesn't hit back harder...but still, I'm making progress! I've also gotten him not afraid to actual wrestle with me...which is... fun.

However, I don't think my fighting abilities are improving, and in the end, I'll probably get my ass kicked by some fat chick in the ghetto. Alas. And no one will help!

I break up fights between females... just because it means I get to put my hands all over them

But seriously, I think thats the main reason guys don't get in the middle of things. If we try to break something up and our hands slip and grab something else... then we're the ones their rage is directed against. And I love girls that hit back. Its one of the main reasons I'm in Tae kwon do... so I can find women who share my love of kicking the shit outa stuff

There is a difference between a girl slapping a man, and a man punching her back.

The difference is being slapped is degrading. One time a girl slapped me and I had to use all my self restraint in order to just not jump her and beat the shit out of her. Luckily she saw that and didn't try anything ever again

I've actually had tthis tomboy ass bitch come up and PUNCH me right in the jaw... instinct almost had me lay the bitch out.. but I realized she WAS a female.. so I grunted.. and walked off with all of her friends say "You got knocked the FUCK out!" and "ooh bitch! you best be going" (fucking idiots.. ) but err yeah.. say she had continued to hit me.. I'd actually proably have only restrained her.. unless she got tooo violent.. then I'd have laid the smack down.

Man I might have punched her right back . If I get hit and it hurts even remotely, I have a lot of trouble controlling myself. Like today on my bus a guy tried to charlie horse me (this guys a dumb ass, and a loser) and I elbowed him in the face before I could even think xD

Hitting a girl back with equal force is fair. (As long as she hasn't got PMT, because that excuses anything and everything.)

But that's where the problem is - a slap doesn't carry that much force, although it does sting a bit. Guys would hit back with more force and take it too far. That's why it's just better to restrain yourself

Equal pay, Equal rights, but not equal when it comes to fighting...

Women live longer than men so technically they should be able to take more slaps by my reckoning, although i never have and hopefully will never have to hit any woman, but i would if she was going to kill me, kill a friend/family member, bite/chop/rip certain things off etc...

A slap is different to a punch. If she slaps you, slap back. It's within your rights. Punching is much worse because it causes more damage.
