I am glad to announce(since the admins did not) that the search threat I have found recently was patched last night. So now, no matter if you are using an old or new SearchId it will force you too wait!

I am so happy.

Note: This was fixed by ShadowLink64, not IPB. So other 2.1.6 boards and lower are still vulnerable. PM If you want my complete breakdown of the exloit .

Yeah, will an admin ge tin contact with me please? I got the original 2.1.6 IPB files on my computer, I can get them to u if you did not make a back up

We can download them from the download center on IPS any time we want .

The transfer of those files would be illegal and against their TOS. How you got those files is probably illegal as well since IPB is a pay only service now.

The admins are having a meeting right now discussing the next week of codex activities, we will fix the search error as soon as its over .
