Yeah. You heard it.

It would fix so much.
There would not have been a 9.11.
We wouldn't be fighting a war.
Thousands of lives could have been saved.
But religion, and religious radicals cause shit to bark UP.

No religion, no 9.11, as previously stated.

Sure, if it just disappeared. But what if there was never religion in the first place? People would still have something to turn to, sure. But it wouldn't be some bullshit that would take thousands of lives, and cause war.

Right. And? Just some random day, some fat-old-bark didn't do "I wanna make a country based on religion!"
No.
Religion just HAPPENED to be there when countries founded.
And it suppored us.
Sure.
It doesn't mean a country wouldn't be here.

Another point. Look at science. The "religious morales" keep us from advancing in science, specifically stem cell research.
The potentials of SCR. Cancer. Emphesema. Birth defects.
They can all be fixed with more SCR.
But relgion says "NO, ITS WRONG."

Another point, my view - the beliefs of religion are rediculous.
I mean, it pretty much says, that one day an all-seeing being came along and said "OMG I R MAKE PLANET AND PEEPUL!"
Thats SERIOUSLY the most propsterous thing I have EVER, EVER, EVER heard.

Atheism is the most proposterous thing I have ever heard. Different opinions for different people. This debate wont accomplish anything. Everyone has different opinions on the matter and you wont change anyone's opinions online. This thread is only going to cause differences between people and more fighting on the boards. And that is something we definately do not need. For this reason, I am closing it.
