So, a legend for the front page. cause the colours of the names can get confusing. And yeah. so if we had a legend, we get a basic idea who's what rank.

This post isn't spam, it's a perfectly fine suggestion. Leave the Jokes forum strictly to jokes and other fun stuff. It's not a miscellaneous section.
My verdict on the suggestion: I don't think it would help me as i'm used to it all by now, like most older members, but for newbies it could be useful. Still, I don't see the need to know people's ranks, so i'm kinda against this idea as it'd just take up more room and look like clutter.

Instead of putting the legend on the main page, maybe there could be a link underneath the member list that will bring up a legend when clicked. :]
Sounds good, but what if no one notices? Including me. I don't just go around looking for the link to a legend each day xD

Then that would be your problem. If you were taking time out of your life to try and figure out what rank everybody is, I'm sure you would notice a link that said something along the lines of "Rank Legend".
