So I Had some major trouble last night. I thought both my power supplies where dead. After a very stressful two hours I finally got it completely built. Video card in, Memory installed, hard drive umm connected, CD drive actually opening, LEDs on the power button actually turn on. Now all that is left is to install an Operating System.

That seems to be the hard part though. Every time I try to install my kubuntu disk it does something weird that I can't figure out. Right now my PC is actually on and was online, so if staff checks my recent login IPs they may notice different ones. The only way I could get it online though is to pop in a knoppix live disk I had laying around. I need to locate a kubuntu disk that actually works and I should be good to go.

Try SuSE internet install... You download an image 30megs big, boot it up and download only the packages you selected.

Sorry I just had to recomend SuSE... Dunno what could be wrong with you Ubuntu disc :(
