Oh my God, this is one of the funniest movies I have seen. I saw a screening in Denver a while ago (about five or six days ago), and it is simply just hillarious. Da Ali G Show is great, and seeing Borat on the big screen had to have been the coolest experiences watching a movie in my life. It is easily one of the funniest movies you will see this year. It's easily better than Clerks II, and ahead of Jackass Number Two on my list of crazy as hell films this year. I REALLY reccomend you go see it on November 3rd, then see it again, again, and again, especially if you like Da Ali G Show.

Yeah, same here. Though I don't think it's released anywhere right now, but there were definitely around 30 screenings of the film already that have grossed quite a bit. It's banned in Kazakhstan, as far as I can tell. =P

Anyone see this movie yet? Thumbs up? Thumbs down?
I've watched a lot of interviews featuring Borat and they were all hilarious.

Heard a lot about it, and everyone was going crazy over it at school today, but I'm not sure; I don't think it's really my type of humor. I remember watching that one scene where Borat passionately snogs his sister, and says something along the lines of, "This is my sister. She is the number 4 prostitute in Kazahkstan". laugh.gif

And banned in Kazakhstan? Never! ohmy.gif Ha ha, no shit!

Also, I'd kinda be worried to go see it in cinemas. It's a comedy, and I bet anything I'd be stuck behind someone who laughs spazzy or something, or worse, someone who laughs at non-funny bits.

Its like this big thing they're flippin out...
It sucks Sacha Baron Cohen sucked his well dry now he cant continue the Ali G show no more which was hilarious and his other character are no where near as funny as Borat and there cant be a Borat II b/c of now everyone knows hes not a real guy... it was well worth the money to go see it i have off school friday im going to see it again =]

Sacha Baron Cohen does easily have an acting career ahead of him. His performance in Talladega Nights as Will Ferrell's rival was the perfect balance of not stealing the show while still being devoted to acting. Now that he's more well known, and that he's living in Los Angeles (he's engaged to Isla Fisher of Wedding Crashers,) it's easy to say his future looks bright.

One of the funniest movies i have seen in along time, you can talk about it for hours but there were some parts that were a little weird like the fight scene that was pretty gross that guy had like 3 stomachs -_-.

yea im not saying he wont be successful but the whole ali G/borat/bruno thing isn't going to really work anymore now that hes uber famous before only handful of people knew him compared to now the average person thinks borat is a real guy and have no clue he was in Talladega nights thus why the movie is effective

you think his stomachs were gross did you see the guys balls on borats face??

She's very hot for a 30 year old. I thought she was like, a little older than Lohan (22 or 23), but it's really suprising. She's pledging to Judaism for him too.

Lame. Borat character is unfunny, and Sacha's unprofessional.

Took advantage of a town where people don't have proper running water, sewage, poverty-stricken and isolated.. they were paid 3 euro each, and made to believe that they were filming a documentary on their hardships when in the movie they were made out to be from a backwards society full of prostitutes, rapists, and that they engage in casual incest*.

Borat/Ali G = barking clown shoes.

Strange, because he's used the village before for other purposes.
