    QFT?

Anyways, tell us the whole story, and we may be able to give you feedback? If it was high enough to warrant your loss of license, then you were most definately going far over the limit... Shit happens, Chin up, Chest out. It'll be fine.

Dude, if you have to make 500-600 dollars a month its not that hard.

Get a decent paying job and work hard on the weekends, maybe 6-8 hours a day. Thats anywhere from about 100-200 dollars in that weekend depending on your pay, so you wont have to work too much during school days. You still have time for highschool sports since they are always right after school 1we8.gif

Why would you need a highschool diploma? I work in my parents warehouse for $10 an hour, if I was to work 8 hours a day over the weekend I pocket $160 1we8.gif With four weekends in a month I have my 500-600 dollars a month covered 1we8.gif

You can get a job as a lifeguard, or a referee.

Lifeguarding pays like 15 bucks an hour, and refereeing (is that a word?) pays like 10 bucks an hour, and you'll be able to be right in the middle of sports.

NOTE: The pay will probably be different where you live.

So it was a DUI? they have to put a breathalyzer on every car? That is expensive, about 200 per car toset up and about 60-85 a month to maintain. If it was you that got in trouble and you lost your licence, why do they have to put them on? That just makes no sense to make then do it.

Even at 6:75 an hour, he would have to work about 28-30 hours a week. I just assumed that the 500-6-- is AFTER taxes, pomroy. That would pretty much count out sports. sad.gif

Sorry to hear about all this icey. Shit happens though dude. I ended up doing a lot of shitty things my senior year too, all though i cant say the compare to yours, but you will just have to keep pushing on.

I guess a better way to say this is by saying this is just a judge of your character. Will you have the ability to stand up to your issues and push forward with everything? Your a good guy and I am sure you will, but you just need to do so.

Frizzle, try to be nice. You don't have to comfort Icey, nor shower him with words of motivation, but atleast respect his personal situation and don't make it any worse.

Anyway, Icey, i've felt like you plenty of times. I can't relate to the same incidences, nor do I think I had anything quite as bad, but I have certainely felt like quitting and just stop caring many times. Believe it, suffering will make you a stronger person. You'll get over these events, you're life will get back on track, and this will just have made you a harder working, stronger person, so long as you don't give up.

Think of it in terms of your immune system, as a kid, if you're brought up in a dirty area and you're constantly playing with dirt, you're going to get ill a lot. It feels bad at the time, obviously, but out of it comes a stronger you. You're immune system becomes more efficient and protective, and in turn when you grow up, you're past suffering will mean getting ill alot less often.

When i'm feeling down, and feel like my life is going nowhere, I take it as motivation and work harder. I could name you many examples, but I don't think this is the place. If you want to talk about it more, add me on MSN:
    [email protected]
Take the shit God throws at you, pick it up by it's horns and say F- YOU! I AM STRONGER THAN THIS!. You just need some motivation, the light at the end of the tunnel.

    Good luck with everything, man!

My girlfriend uses this motto, and I'm sorry but I really disagree with it.

I cut off your legs and arms, you're stronger?
Someone breaks into your house, you witness your family members all get killed. You're emotionally screwed for life. Stronger? Doubt it.

Sorry, but I hate that saying angry.gif

Your life is not screwed, theres other people that are in more serious stuff then you are. Sometimes we make really bad mistakes, we got to have our heads up everytime to make it better until that problem is solved.

Ill have to disagree with that. I heard a story of this men who lost his legs and arms. He paints with a brush on his mouth. Like full portraits, that I wish I could do. We take everything for granted because we have legs and arms and look at that guy he still lives while people are complaining.

Then you need to go to court, and prove that there wrong. They have done that before with my parents saying they where speeding when they were not speeding that much. Good luck with this situation.

I can't, if i go to court i would have to go for a previous thing that I was in the wrong but the court gave me PBJ, if i dont go to court it wont come back, worst case if i went to court is 7 points... best is 3, most likely is 7

But that doesn't screw your life up at all. People are given their good and bad days. You have to learn to deal with it like any other person. Not take yourself for crap. Yes the pigs may have charged you with speeding even if you weren't speeding at all. It happens to a lot of people but they should all move on.

Losing your license? That's not bad. I've had a permit for almost a year and a half because my family had to pay for my grandpa's visit from overseas. There are times I wish I could drive on my own but I deal with it.

You won't be able to do sports but you can still do athletic activities. A job won't keep you working twenty-four hours of the day. Public parks are always open for you to throw a ball.

Your girlfriend cheated on you, well screw her. You don't need people like that ever around you. Screw people who aren't trustworthy or loyal to you. What do you need them for?

If you get a job as a waiter, you can sometimes pull a good four hundred over a weekend. I've had several friends who have earned a grand in a month busing and waiting tables. Find a job that's right for you.

You're a better person than that, Icey. Stay strong through the rough times.

Well if you were speeding even if only one over, the laws going to rule in the cops favour xD
