Icey you sound depressed maybe you should ask your parents to if they will let you see a psychologist it would help you.

Icey...you can't just quit. All in one week:
My parents told us they were getting divorced
Found out my brother was gay
    Grandma died
Got kicked out of a basketball league for fighting

I know it's not as bad as you but I got through it.

Life does some pretty nasty shit to people - consider this:

Have you got two working eyes? Are you worried about them failing you any time in the future?
Are you spending countless hours worrying whether you'll be blind for the rest of your life or not?
Do you have an ailment that could possibly ruin what you love doing best for the rest of your life, and that's completely irrepairable?

Life has thrown that all in my face. I've coped with it. Coping is the hardest thing to do in a situation like this. Chin up, and look at tomorrow as a new day. A new day that could potentially hold the cure to every problem you've endured over the past few months.

You also haven't screwed over your life. Okay sure, a few mistakes have been made - the reprecussions not so nice. Lost your licence? Dont worry about it. You'll eventually get the chance to reapply for it - and this time round you know how not to screw yourself and avoid the police. Girlfriend cheated on you? Who needs the wench? Good riddance to her and pity the guy she's with. If she feels you're not good enough for her, you're obviously too good for her. Cant do sports anymore? Hell, you've got us - you've got the wild world of MMORPG's where you can do whatever the hell you want to do. Life isn't constrained by what is real - believe me on this.

Take each day as it comes. A solution to any of these problems will come along any time now. Dont wait for it, just carry on with life. Let these problems make you stronger and wiser as a person. I guarantee you'll benefit from it later on in life.

lost your license? your own damn fault. if you were doing something that warranted a license removal, then I should damn well hope it does get taken away. No offence, but you don't only put your own life on the line when you drive, but you put everyone else's around you as well on the line.

insurance is only a byproduct of the stupidity.

girlfriend? psh. shit happens. now you can go out and find a better woman, one who can keep her legs closed. biggrin.gif

sports? find some non-school related teams to join up with. smile1.gif

Job? stay in school, and some day you shall have that job.

I myself have a job where I make that much in a day. lol

things will get better, the shit you step in doesn't only serve to make other people smell better... it also makes you stronger.

Icey, it seems like everything is collapsing onto you right now, but in fact, in the scope of your whole life, it will be nothing. Bad things (really bad things) happen to everyone, but quitting trying to improve and instead just living with it is not the only option. I understand your depression, but guess what - everything that you mention can be renewed. There is nothing that cannot be reversed. You can always get a new license, you can always get a higher-paying job, you can always play sports, you can always get a new girlfriend, and you can always get new insurance for your parents. I'm sorry to hear that all of this happened to you at once, but it is important for you to understand that just because these things happeend, it is not the end of the world. There is always time to improve and change. Heck, you're only high school! Give yourself a few days to think about how you can make changes. You can, and will get yourself out of this.

Is this one of the most difficult moments you've had in your life? Probably. But will you get over this and become a better, stronger person? Definitely.

As most people have already said, although things look horrible now on a much larger scale, this is nothing. This is just a small blotch on your life in the long run. Think of all the years you still have to come smile.gif

I was going through some rough stuff also,
Got complety wasted, cheated on my girlfriend with 2 girls, lost my virginity
    Girlfriend broke up with me
    Grounded for 6 weeks
    No homecoming
    Aunt diagnosed (sp?) with cancer
Phone + Ipod ($600) stolen from me at school
Got incredibly sick 103 fever, I didn't have any energy, missed about a week of school
No one to trust, lost a lot of friends

All happened in the course of a week =/

Things are better now though =] you just have to look on the bright side and stick it out.

Shit happens. It's life, nothing is going to be perfect. Instead of reflecting on the bad times get up and start thinking about the good times and the future. If you're pissed off at your GF take pictures of her naked and post them around your school. smile.gif

    *sigh*

Last thing he needs right now is someone trying to stoke sorrow into malice. It'll only cause more problems for him right now.
