Im looking for some software so I can do true remote logins. Theres a piece of software called DualDesk, its bloody brilliant it works on the client server applications, the client software is just 175KB! absoutely brilliant, all they have to do is open the application and type in the password then the server is logged in. I want some software like this, I dont care about the cost as long as its under $3000 or is easily obtainable.

There's this program at my work where they can connect to whatever comp this program is installed on. It gives a message saying "Blah is trying to connect and will in 30 seconds". Then there's 2 buttons saying "Block Request" and "Allow Now" I'll try to get my hands on the name for ya smile.gif

Why not just use RDP like Laser Wave said? It is easy to use, comes with XP/2003 and you can require the acceptance to an invitation to allow remote login

I did look into it, but it requires the sofwate to be installed and configured at both ends, which really isnt worth doing. With DualDesk the client program is bloody tiny and all they have to do is click it.

I looked into DualDesk im going to buy the software once I make the money to buy it I dont wanna put any money into buying it striaght away. Remote Desktop Assistant is only really supportee by professional as well.

From what i see you must be hosting some kind of private server..actually i think dualdesk might be a tad too expensive but if you are using it in a large scale it might be worth it though...

Right, why isn't OpenSSH a viable option? It's free, open source, easy to setup & use, not to mention that it's portable.

Yes it is an easyish option, but it requires SETUP which means its not a viable option.
