Absolutly ridiculous.
A guy gets quoted 0.002 cents per Kilobyte, but they charge him 0.002 DOLLARS per Kilobyte, and he tries to explain to them that he was charged incorrectly, but multiple people of Verizon assert that 0.002 CENTS = 0.002 DOLLARS.
Honestly, I have no word for people like these except - f'ing retards.
The SUPERVISOR at the end can't even figure it out, she says "I dont have a math degree sir", well apparently you don't have a high school education either you idiot dry.gif
Stupid people make me angry.

Lol, it's not even maths it's just currency...those people must be so stupid.

He should just pay his bill in cents...and then say that they are the same as dollars. devil.gif

It's so sad to see people that don't understand something so simple.

I'd just like to point out that this was a Canadian Verizon Wireless. Normally I would take this time to make fun of Canadians, but I'm not in the mood 1we8.gif Eh.

Do you recognize there is a difference between one dollar and one cent?

    Definitely.

Do you recognize there is a difference between half a dollar and half a cent?

    Yes.

Do you realize there is a difference between .002 dollars and .002 cents?

    No.

    hahaha, wow.

I mean, I can't count change and whatnot... but seriously. I know that a portion of a cent is different that a portion of a dollar.

half a dollar is 50 cents.

half a cent is like cutting a penny in half D:

I wonder too. He must have bribed his superiors or get it through connections 1we8.gif

Well you dont need a high school cert to be able to differentiate between .002 dollars and .002 cents. I was able to do that well in my 2nd grade although my maths is not too good. tongue.gif

I can't believe how horrible their math/currency skills are. If you download 35 megabytes in Canada, you suddenly get charged $71.00? Holy shit! tongue.gif

Makes me sad that it's a Canadian Verizon thingy too. sad.gif

0.002 CENTS is not 0.002 DOLLARS,
    just like
0.002 METRES is not 0.002 KILOMETRES

Stay in Math class everyone. tongue.gif

What morons. If I was the guy with the bill I would have went about it differently with the last female. She seemed to be the only one smart enough to realize that .002 cents is less than a cent. I would have said why is it that if I paid 1 cent per kilobyte that I would be paying $3.59, but when I am paying .002 cents, which is less than 1 cent, I am paying 71 dollars. I would have went down their and shown my ass though. Instead of over the phone. People seem to get things done when a angry guy is staring at them.

That makes me angry dry.gif Not really. But their idiocy annoys me dry.gif I'd go down there and draw it out on paper for them. If they didn't accept it then, I'd call the BBB. Or just after the first 2 calls I would xD

Wow, I like how you make the assumption that roughly 518 million are going down hill based on five people. Those five people represent 0.000000009652509652509653 percent of the population of the North American continent.

    GGNORE.
