FINALLY FINISHED GOD IT FEELS GOOD TO BE DONE

*cough* okay... ummm... yeah... finally done. Some comments and things to improve would REALLY be appreciated before I submit it to devart. Finally something I'm proud of... but I'll hate it in 2 days, but hey, whatever xD

Looks good I really like the background.
I personally would add thicker borders around the girl just to complement the chibi-cartoonish look.

With smaller hands which caused me to have to make thinner arms... again... quick edits... not perfect:

Meh, I'm really kind of not liking it now as an adultish version. I prefer the version before to be honest just mostly because it was meant to be out of proportion and more well... chibi. Mine's about a half-chibi, I guess where you can see the proportions on how to draw chibis here:

*shrugs* I guess my drawing just doesn't... look right proportional to me. But thanks for the suggestions anyways <img src="http://www.neocodex....IR#>/happy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="happy.gif" /> Besides if I kept it as it was I would have to redraw EVERYTHING... make the legs longer, make the boots smaller, blah blah blah and it'd be a whole new drawing.

Thanks! And I used Photoshop CS2 to do it. Kairi was mostly done with the polygonal lasso tool and the background with the pen.

now, let's seee.... comments on chibis is hard, because everything cn either be done mainstream, or towards someone's own style... generally with chibis, the neck is very non-attention drawing, if present at all.... I think it might look better without the neck muscle ridge thing line (don't know exactly what it's called, but it's usually a detail left out with chibis).

if you show individual fingers, you should usually show the toes as well. they're sinple to do too, and it just sort of unifies things a little.

^ I think she's losing it. Those aren't sandals, they're boots, so like drawing toes are a bit weird. Unless you feel like it of course, but it'd still be weird.

The head was overbearing in the first one

Technique and presentation-wise, though, it's adorable
