no. I grew up having a father for half my life. it turned out he was gay. He then made me go visit him on a regular basis with his boyfriend.

I'm traumitized now. He still hasn't told me he's gay he just thinks a moron but I'm not.
It pretty much ruined my life knowing I had a gay father in my teens when I really needed a father figure the most.

I've had to grow up at an early age.

I totally agree with you. I also did not have a father figure growing up....

Then why don't you just tell him that you know?
He clearly wants you to know.
And needing the father figure part. I'm guessing you had a good family life where your parents helped you out when you needed it.
You don't really need to have a father figure, what is it you need help with? A girl? Your friends? Need some advice? You can get all of those from a friend.

yeah it sucks. I rarely speak to my father anymore and he probably knows why.

I don't hate gay people I just don't like the fact that my father is a lying asshole prick.

He left my family when I was 8. Sometimes things are better learning from your father then it is your mother especially during puberty. I have a brother who is 6 years older then me but he was always doing his own thing with his friends and never really has the time to spend with me or my family. Still to this day he's like that.

Anyways to keep it on Topic I disagree with gay adoption.

Well mine died almost ten years ago so I'll never get the chance to speak to him again even if I wanted to..
Eh.

Well...I mean, I was only 9 when it happened to my dad so we didn't have any hostility, my parents were just divorced.
But you never know when you may need him or something. I don't know...
Sorry to get this off topic. I can stop now...if needed.

Gnome, what your father did was cruel, I agree. He should not have married and had a kid if he was gay, but think of it this way: He's your father and without him you wouldn't be alive. If he had come out earlier then you wouldn't exist, so I would be grateful he waited.

Nope.
I don't care how much you want a kid, if you want one, go screw a chick.
That kid will feel extremely uncomfortable in public with you and even at school because no-one is ever gonne stop staring. Ever. It's just the way people are.
They can't accept gay people.

Sorry.

Sorry.

And do not lie, thank you. This thread has no reason to stay open - all it has done has invited the ultimate bigots to have their distasteful and supremacist say, so it's time to be closed before we scare new members away with the bigoted values of certain members.
