Which do you think is a better Anti Virus?

I bought Norton Internet Security twice total $160 and I gotta say that was a total waste of my money. Don't get me wrong it did what it was supposed to but it was just bulked with a bunch shit features and it lagged my computer even more >_< So a few weeks ago my subscription ended again so I downloaded McAfee to give it a shot. It is so much better the full system scan ends in 1 hour rather than 3 everything is simple and it doesn't lag my computer. biggrin.gif I'm never buying Norton again tongue.gif

I'd put AVG, Zone Alarm and Kaspersky above both of those 2, but I wouldn't touch Norton if you paid me...so McAfee out of those 2.

AVG is free, and Zone Alarm is powerful, yet easy to use.

Norton , but both are horrible, I recommend BitDefender or AVG, norton used to be good, but after 2003 it got bad

the enterprise editions aren't as bad as the home user editions, but both norton and mcaffee are both pretty bad. i would recommend nod32

Neither...
I agree with LW.
Kaspersky is probably the best.
It's been working wonders for me. smile.gif

I would rather have no anti-virus than norton blink.gif.

Mcafee, if I haven't got anything else.

And Kaspersky or NOD32, if I want something decent wink.gif

CLAMWIN! http://www.clamwin.com/

It's the BEST virus detecctor. It's so good, when I ran it on my computer, it analyzed the keyboard and told me I had human papillomavirus. A doctor confirmed this for me.

Seriously, its free to (ported from LINUCKZ). BUT. It only detects virii. It does not remove them. BUT. Google can find you tons of stingers (stand alone targetted virii removers). Others googling cnahow you how tor emove.

In options you cxan set it to remove files that are infected, but that is not reocmended.

If i were really to choose out of both it would be mcafee..norton hogs your system no matter what..freewares like AVG, ZoneAlarm works wonders thumbsup.gif
and i would strongly recommend ClamWin for a thorough scan of your C:\...i took about 4 hours to finish scanning mine..

Norton corporate is STILL the best anti-virus on the market, if your after a very very good anti-virus panda is the way to go its along side Kaspersky.
