Are guests meant to be able to read every section which normal users get access to? unsure.gif

Methinks we'd get more members if they have to sign up to read everything...

Guests can read some of the stuff but not everything tongue.gif. They can read like general chat and neopets areas and stuff just to get a preview of what codex is like tongue.gif. But in order to see the rest of the stuff they have to sign up smile.gif.

I think it's a good move. Personally, lurking around and not having access is what made me want to join even more! tongue.gif

tongue.gif From your point of view, what is the best thing we could do to attract more people to us? Any suggestions since you have recent experience with that stuff tongue.gif.

Well it was the secrecy of it all that really got me. tongue.gif I cannot really remember how I stumbled onto codex but my desire to join was reinforced by the numerous ads on places like msn groups and the like. Personally I feel that once codex gets members they will stay because of the great atmosphere but I think we need a more aggressive advertising strategy to get the word out.

Yeah I agree...and have been thinking of how to accomplish this for a long time...We have the referral contest going on currently and that's doing well. We do need a more aggressive advertising strategy...

I've been letting it loose on the msn groups since yesterday. How about through google adwords or whatever the system is called?
