It will fix it, because eventually, either the side in the wrong will wisen up, or they'll be wiped out.

I don't think so. Well if they keep at it they might just wipe each other out which will cause peace by total extintion. But I dont' want conflicts to end that way.

Yes, the stronger person(s) win when the weaker person(s) figure out they have no chance. Problem solved.

Unfortunately so.

To communicate with animals you must act like an animal.

The stronger person wins for the time being, until the weaker person becomes strong enough to overcome them. Then the formerly strong person has no hope for compromise, because they have given the weak person a cause to hate/want revenge.

I don't think there is a way to end conflict totally, because you can't please everyone. Also, human emotions such as greed, jealousy, etc. always create a cause for a new conflict.

Survival of the fittest, which doesnt involve a hippie telling his rival to take a lot more acid than the rival should.

It depends on the intelligence level and the maturity level of the two sides.

If they're mature and intelligent, they can make a compromise.
Which can be applied in all situations. Just need the right amount of intelligence and maturity!

But most of the time.. Sadly, yes.
Wish it weren't, though.

Of course, otherwise circumstances like Hitler's overpowering take on Europe would continue and other forms of political war will not stop until you take them down with force.

I think that if your in a desperate time, then you probably need some type of violence to solve it (Aka, the military), it may injure more people that are innocent bystanders. But if it all possible, I'd love to see violence solved with non-violence.
