Funniest thing I've heard in a long time, Owen won't go anywhere if people match his get-out clause let alone go for £4 million + a useless player. He'll probably go next season unless we're up challenging for trophies but he's definitely not going this season.

I think he is still a quality player and just needs some games to get back to his best...preferably without any injuries in between lol. A little soon to count him out.....

It would be nice to see him back at liverpool. I cant help thinking that he would end up like Robbie Fowler and fail to fulfill what is expected of him if he went back. Its an important part of his career now and he needs to choose wisely what he does next.

Well he managed to score 13 goals in 34 games (mainly from the bench) at Real, and has scored 7 in 14 games for Newcastle, not many premiership players can manage a 1:2 goals to games ratio...

He'll be back this season better than he was at Real because his hamstrings have had a chance to recover, so he should be back close to how quick he was at Liverpool this season.

Owen + Martins + Viduka = Scary combination in my opinion...

He's England's main striker, if he hadn't been injured for the last year and a half he would have played in every England game.

Broke a bone in his foot, and then damaged a cruciate ligament in his knee when playing for England in the World Cup.
