There is no way in hell I would go to a store on Black Friday, unless I needed something pretty damn bad.

I have a scar on my leg from a old lady on black friday who was beating me out of her way with her cane bacause I was goin to grab the last coffee pot that was on sale.

Old people are crazy about weird shit like that. Its a coffee pot. The same coffee pot you can buy tomorrow, or could have bought yesterday, for $5 extra. Is it really THAT big of a deal?

With that $5 you could buy four double cheeseburgers at McDonalds. (It would be 5, but tax).

We watched that movie in health class in like 8th grade. It was intended to scare us away, but I think most everyone in the class got McDonalds after school those days tongue.gif
It is a really good movie though. And yea...their fries are badd. Congrats early on 100posts Hawk. tongue.gif

Ouch, metal. I figured it was just a wooden cane. Metal just adds to the pain.

Haha! So did anyone think it was odd (and humorous smile1.gif ) that you walked up to the counter bloody and limping with a coffee pot? Its bad, but I probably would have laughed at you. tongue.gif

Every friday?

The day after Thanksgiving. Every store in America has a sale, and people basically kill each other to buy crap biggrin.gif

I would rather stick my tongue in a paper shredder than go shopping on Black Friday...ok...maybe not that extreme tongue.gif

My credit card has buyers protection and I can have them reverse the charge if I get ripped off or anything like that.

There are sites I trust, and sites I don't. (Newegg I would trust, people on Ebay I do not).

Resellerratings.com is the place to see if an online store is good. smile.gif

Building is always good. I had mine built for around $400 and the retail on it would be around $1,000.

smile.gif Building your own is the way to go. I need my mom to cave to getting a new computer. She doesn't understand that our old P4 at 2.6 GHz against a C2D is like an old station wagon against a Ferrari in a 1/4 mile race dry.gif

She also doesn't understand that our PC cannot run any recent games dry.gif I probably cannot even play BF2.
