I am pleased to announce that the staff revamps have officially commenced, and that as you can tell, they are being done in phases. There will be three phases:
Phase One - Promotion of SuperModerators
Phase Two - Demotions and Staff Training Briefing
Phase Three - Promotion of New Moderators
(Phases Two and Three are scheduled to occur at roughly the same time.)
So without any further delay, I am pleased to announce that Tetiel and Kitsune have been promoted to the position of SuperModerator. Congratulations!
In the next few days, they will learn about the new responsibilties they have, and will also be responsible for something new that we will be incorporating this time around (which is why Phases Two and Three are being purposefully delayed):
Staff Training:
This time around, the SuperModerators (in conjunction with the Administrators) will be responsible for executing a staff training program for the new moderators. We felt that if newly promoted moderators were better prepared for the challenges that await them, the moderators will experience an easier transition into staff and will leave a better first impression of themselves as a staff member.
And how about some more news? Our admin meeting was jam packed full of stuff:
E-Zine Coming Back??
Oh yes, I mentioned the word e-zine. Whenever this word is mentioned in news, it is either met with growing anticipation, or subtle disappointment due to the failures of the past. However, the administration is once again addressing the importance of an interactive group project on the board, and we feel that it won't hurt to give it another try, but a bit differently this time.
Preparations are being made right now to include the e-zine as part of Neocodex's future. Please stay tuned to further details. We want to make sure we get everything else we promised done first though.
