This website is called NEOcodex but for the last month its just been codex.Can we all please at least try to post once a day in the neopets section?Lets start with my two day old battle dome topic.Thank you come again.

The thing is many of older members no longer have any interest in neopets.

It's a more general problem of inactiveness across the whole board probably.

Codex = 5 letters, Neo = 3 letters. Therefore, Codex > Neo.

well no one will come here to talk about random garbage, they come for neopets and stay for the rest.no neopets posts means no new members which leads to inactivity which starts the circle over again.programs also play a part.this should be in a different topic but we also need to make a badge for member owned websites that has a link here.you can google codex so we are advertising,we just need to kick it up.

I came here for the community, not for neopets. Your first statement is wrong.
I don't think any of this is "random garbage". Some posts are better then others, but very little is garbage. Your second statement is wrong.

i checked the boards every day i just didnt have time to post i never dissapeared. im not saying the conversations are garbage but its unlikely someone will climb the ranks to talk about football or new movies, you need a strong theme.

maybe sometimes there just isnt anything neo related to post but there was a couple neo post made if you bothered to check rather then just try to steer people to your own topic.

Don't just expect people to jump into the section because you complained they're not posting enough, if there is nothing interesting to them in that section, they're not going to bother. Go post some topics, or a guide which may help people... those things would usually be a good way to improve the activity.

I'd be more inclined to believe you care about the Neopets section of this community if you weren't trying to advertise your own topic and tell people to post there, but instead tried to give some suggestions on HOW to generally improve the activity in that section.

I don't play neopets so therefore all posts I would post in that section would be spam. I do, however donate to the team regularly. I come here for my friends and the good community. That is what makes you stick. Not always the genre, not always what is said, but the people. And I like the people on codex usually I could say everyone should post in my section but that would be the wrong thing to do as not everyone has an interest in graphics or art. Nor would it be right to tell everyone to post in the programming section.

I had no idea. Thanks, I am glad I know that now. Anyways, if you're so anxious to make a section where the majority of active Neocodex members do not post in often, you should go now and create a topic that will grab the attention of users. Most of the users would rather have a general chat about a funny interview or what type of clothes you wear instead of whom got which avatar on a childrens site.

Ermm.. not much point in having this open anymore. We can't make people post in the Neopets section if they don't want to/have no interest in it anymore. We're not changing the name 'Neocodex'.
