I've worked so many jobs I hate and gotten fired/quit early on so many times that I realized I can't play the normal card and bullshit through typical jobs. So I teach guitar/bass guitar lessons and sell bad bootleg copies to computer-illiterate people. I don't make much, but since I live with four other people, pay little of the rent, and can afford some food and cds at the end of the day, I'm fine. You would think I'd be perceived as a loser, but oddly enough I'm perceived as protesting the system or some lame ass shit, lol.

Such a carefree life. Just sleep all day, eat, and wait for Mom to come home so you can play. Ahh...I wish I could return to those days .

Today is another day for "My job sucks a lot"
Yes it did... I'm still working at this mean pet store, I still get no more money... but woohoo... I got way more hours to work.
Lets talk about my so super duper Store...
Usually we're 12 slaves there... well... 3 are permanent sick since MONTHS... 4 got fired... 2 takes their vacacions for weeks...
Now, if you can count, you'll see... were only 3 slaves right now... since weeks. Only my boss, the Aquaristic guy, and I at the cashdesk... great... we have open 12h a day, 6 days a week, with only 3 f***ing people, with more than 400 guys who comes in the store to buy something, I do 12h shifts, only with a 30min break for a coffee and a cigarette. And tonight before we're closing, a guy tried to rob me.... and I'd hit him with a big bone til he ran away.

Sounds like some BS. Isn't it mandatory that you get an hour break working 12 hours? At my store, we get an hour break if we're working 11 hours. O.O

But then again, I never work that many at a time. -.-

Sucks that you're getting so many hours and do have time for anything else, but at least you're getting monies.

Edit: My job sucked as well today. We have INVENTORY. FUcking sucky shit, I'm telling you. We had a group of people come
in and count EVERY item in the store. Then we had to go behind them and RECOUNT. UGHHHHH.
I'm hurting so bad right now. Knees, back, shoulders, neck, legs....

I love my job!

I get paid but not in money but by love! lol I am a stay at home mom so my job can be fun and stressful all in one but I wouldn't change it for anything or anyone!

I'd trade you in a heartbeat working in a pet store would be like heaven lol I can totally see myself stretched out during the slowtimes reading the books. I have quite a collection and continually try to expand it. It just seems that it would be such a relaxing job I wouldn't need a cig but every 6 hours or so, well until I get "that 1 customer". And anyone in retail undertstands what I mean by "that 1 customer".

I dont actually have a job that pays me any money, the husband supports us.
But being a home mother is alot of work exp with special needs children
