(also in the "Neopets Tools" bar above)

Try this tool out and see what you think. tongue.gif It only gives limited information right now, but when we improve the database the amount of information and the reliability of the pricing should get better. smile.gif

Sure, try it out. tongue.gif It should display all nine maps if you type in the name of "Spooky Treasure Map".

I searched for secret lab map and 3 of the images didn't show up at the bottom.

Hmm, I guess there aren't any images in the database for those items then. When they get spidered next, it should be able to find them. 1we8.gif

It gets updated by people running the item pricer as well as other programs with it built in.

Depends how many times the programs are ran, as the programs are the sources of information for this database. Currently there are only three programs updating this list, but we hope to increase the amount of information the database receives once we do some testing.

Maps and Codestones right now seem to be reliable because people search for that the most (I guess), but everything else might only be priced seldomly. tongue.gif

I think the three SLM that weren't showing was because they were unbuyable and so no one would be able to search them.

That could be why. tongue.gif The programs will need to be able to search them in order to get the image's URL so I think that is very plausible.

    Awesome!

It looks like it won't take part of the name though. It'll be useful for things I'm not sure of the price of, at least. Also with the shop owners listed, it'd make faerie questing a little easier. Kekeke.

This has some really amazing potential for the future also. This is only a preliminary show I think but in the future you would be able to see which shops have this item and for what price, when it was last restocked and a bunch of other things necessary for players. You awesome neopets players can help us out with features you would like here smile.gif.

Again, this is just the beginning of something amazing tongue.gif.

Just so you don't have a huge wtf moment later SL, I updated the script to search for names like those that they enter so now they can enter a part of the name or the entire name smile.gif.

I may as well add pagination to it then, since when someone searches "A", thousands of items appear.

Add a limit of maybe only the first 100 results? Or some number you think is good tongue.gif. Or you can add a certain amount of letters which need to be entered first...

It is by no means complete. tongue.gif There are about 18,000 items in there right now but there are a lot more in TNT's database. tongue.gif
