So, first find an online database for items. Jellyneo's is much better than neoitems imo. Use the advanced search.
http://items.jellyne...php?go=advanced
Set Catergory to the shop that your ab-ing from. For instance, "candy" if you restock at the Chocolate Store; "Stamp" if you restock at the Post Office.
Item Rarity should be set to "Less Than" 101. (R101-240 are not stocked in stores. If you're only looking for r99 items, which can be a good idea for some stores such as books, set the rarity accordingly.)
Item Status is "Active"
Number per page: 75
And this is optional, but I like to sort by rarity.
I do not suggest using the database's price range because a lot of items are not priced. Also, don't set the Sort by, by price either. You will miss out on many items not priced.
Click go and there you have all the items the store sells. Now you're going to have the weed them out. If you sort by rarity, most of the higher rarity items are usually profitable. The rest you have to check one by one on the shop wizard and decide what is the least amount of profit you were going for. But use your common sense. All "magical" plushies and toys are obviously profitable so you don't need to check those on the shop wizard. As are foods with r90+ (gourmet). And avatar items are often profitable.
Also keep in mind:
100 NP (Low rarity)
250 NP (Around 65-79)
2500 NP (r80-89)
5000 NP (r90-95)
10000 NP (r95+)
So don't buy an r90 item that only sells for 3k.
Usually, I don't settle for less than 8k profit. So for chocolate factory, I only buy items that sell for over 10k. For stores like faerie petpet and defense magic, I'm more picky and just go for the unbuyables.
Other than the bakery, food shop, chocolate factory, and a few others.. making your own lists this way doesn't take long at all. It took me 10 minutes to do spooky foods and 1 minute to do faerie petpets
