As long as Microsoft doesn't manufacture it. I'd rather them not have bugs in it. And they wouldn't put it in my brain. It would go in my arm and be attatched to my brain. Sounds way too lethal for them to be messing with that.

I'd rather not have any technology like that actually INSIDE my body. Its fine to have SmartClothing, or HUDs for eyewear, but actually going so far as to put in inside of me? No thanks.

Well with all the information automatically downloaded to your brains there would be no more need for scientists since everyone could be as smart as them in a few minutes (Unless you have dial-up).

And i would never put one into myself willingly since its guarenteed that the goverment will use it to control and enslave you through it or some smart ass hacker completly fucks you up dry.gif

And as for actually paying for it to be done they should be paying us like selphie said.

Gosh, that'd be quite annoying if you were someone that could do all of that on your own without a memory chip, then some idiot that has loaded parents comes along with one and beats you all the way through education because of a memory chip. Do you think they'd have to be removed in examinations? tongue.gif

Anyway I don't think I would go for this, not for a very long time anyway, it'd need quite a while to work out the kinks and things, I'll let other people be the guinea pigs tongue.gif.

LOL

If you had it in your brain, and you got hit hard in rugby or something, and the shock broke the chip, you'd be stupid for a while xD And everyone would be like "don't mind him he's just stupified for a bit" xD

I don't believe I'd ever, ever, ever do it.

I already remember far too much shit. XD I don't need to remember other stuff. ohmy.gif

I mean imagine it.
You'll remember everything.

You can't pretend you forgot anymore. ; ;

I'd do it.
No questions asked.

I figure that while the technology is emerging, the government would not be dumb enough to just flat-out fuck with people, because it'd be too noticeable.
When it's mandatory at birth is when you need to worry.

I read a really good short story about that sort of thing once...
Everyone had these little brain-device keyrings, and each night they'd download their memories so they never forgot anything.

I think how much I'd pay is a pretty hard question because lets assume prices wont come down for many many years, I would then probably pay like 10k or more for it, but if the prices were going to come down soon and the technology would get a lot better, then it would definitely not be worth 10k+

As long as they couldn't make me a murderous cyborg, I would probably pay like, max $4000 for it, if it worked REALLY well and made me super smart and stuff. XD

all depends on if the chip can actually enhance your brain capabilities or just capacity.
they should work on enabling people to use more than 10% of their brain before implanting things there.

As far as I know, people use the majority of their brain. I don't know any percentage but I'm pretty sure it's not 10%.

What happens if I rub a huge magnet on your head?
Or listen to a MTX Jackhammer in close range? happy.gif
