I've been looking around on Google with no luck, so I figured I'd ask here.

I'm looking to take a panoramic wallpaper and make it go around four workspaces in Ubuntu. As far as I've read the only way it could be done is to separate the picture into four different wallpapers and then set to each workspace. I've read some where though that GNOME doesn't have the capabilities to set individual workspaces with different wallpapers.

I'm also using Compiz / Beryl, but I'm pretty sure it's not possible via it also. I know that it can be done with KDE, but KDE sucks. =(

So anyone know how? ~_~
