I jut Dled this and ran it. However, I am lucky to even be on the boards right now. Ever since I DLed it, my computer has been hella slow. It did catch like 20 trojans on my computer and it was only 15% scanned :o It wont let me uninstall kapersky either cause I need to "exit" it before I uninstalkl it but I DID exit it. It takes like 10 minutes to boot up my comp now and I'm getting really mad here. What should I do?

One more thing. It wont let me sign onto Ai'm or Msn so I wont be on until I fix this prob.

What are the specs of your computer.

I usually warn people before downloading it that its system intensive...

I would go download controlV3 and remove it from my startup if I have was having those problems.

I managed to get rid of it. However, I need a good antivirus protection. I wouldnt mind paying for it thats NOT system intensive. My computer is really junky, 1.59 GHZ, 256 mb RAM.

I don't have much experience with other av's besides norton and mcafee.

Norton is a big namer that really doesn't do much...
Mcafee is sufficient and it won't be hard to find for free.
Also get spysweeper and sygate firewall (if you want).

Kaspersky's good, you just need to disable the real ti'me protection & it'll run fine.

ye it is the most 1337  eva ..itz #1 for the best Anti-Virus for 2004 , Kaspersky isnt even on the top 10. Nortons like #7 and Mcafee is #5 so I use Norton (with auto-Protect on)  Trojan Remover (there isnt a auto-protect) , and BitDefender (has it but I don use it)

What list are you referring to? According to these tests Kaspersky and McAffee are the best.
