To explain: We have just added a rel="nofollow" attribute to all external links that members might post on Neocodex. This ensures that Google and other search engine spiders understand not to crawl these pages and think we condone what they offer in case it is a bad natured website or doesn't follow Google's policies. We have done this for our ZTMC ads at the bottom of the page and also on the wiki as well.

No. It's an HTML tag that is meant to tell Google not to pass PageRank to those pages.
