Wow, I was surprised that there hasn't been a topic made about this yet! Or has there? I didn't see any... tongue.gif

Anyway, who is watching?

God, I'm in awe. People can be so incredible.

The diving should be interesting for us Brits today. We have that 14 year old lad, that I can't remember the name of, working his magic.

    Gutted for the archers yesterday.

Tom Daley. I don't think we're really expecting all that much of him this time are we? It's partly preparation for him for 2012. He's our youngest Olympian in almost 50 years though. biggrin.gif

I've been watching a lot of it. I must say, practically the entire Chinese gymnastics team looks about 13. tongue.gif They're amazing nonetheless though.

You have to be young for gymnastics though. tongue.gif A friend of mine actually competed in the gymnastics in Athens 2004 when she was 17 and retired from competition afterwards.

I think we are classing him as a medal hope. Fingers crossed he can get something.

Mmm that's true. They just look younger than a good portion on the other gymnasts. Like the US gymnasts look like they range from 16-20, so they look really different from the Chinese gymnasts. tongue.gif And wow that's awesome. Any reason why she retired?

She diverted her attention to coaching instead I believe. 17 is quite old for Olympian gymnasts. tongue.gif Just looked and this year the majority of our female gymnasts are about 16, one is 19 and one is 23.

I love how the BBC show the Olympics all through the night. Best thing ever for my appalling sleeping pattern.

I'm becoming completely addicted to hockey again now that I'm watching GB play Pakistan. 2-0 to us so far. biggrin.gif

My favorite part was the moving blocks. The fact that it was just people who did that was amazing.

Yeah NBC does that over here. They show it basically the entire day, so there's always something to watch day or night. tongue.gif
