Don't care about the puppet democracy elections, but Damon's a sick actor styll. Thought this was interesting, 'cause I didn't even consider President Palin, and the Disney analogy is jokes:

Edit: And a true-say about the dinosaurs and books.

The Disney analogy is pretty accurate tongue.gif

I'm pretty sure they'd keep McCain alive for a term. Cheney's still going afterall.

What's not to agree on? He didn't even say any opinions, he pretty much just stated facts about Sarah Palin.

Why couldn't you quote me on "he is one hot mofo" lol...
Well I think its good they are bringing in someone that is from a small town, that doesn't know much about anything...lol. (I know that sounds stupid, but come on...work with me people!!!! lol) Seriously though, someone that hasn't be spoiled from birth and that has real issues in her life, should become part of the government, then she has more of a chance helping out "regular Americans" then someone living off of daddies money. (I have no idea if she does that...but I haven't heard that she does)

    A) This topic sounds like a porn title
    B) If people are concerned about McCain dying of old age, they should concern themselves with Obama getting shot by some confederate conservative from the south lol
    C) Who is Joe Biden?
    D) Obama doesn't really have much experience either :|

I'm all for Obama, but he doesn't really bring up any legitimate arguments, but people just agree because he's a big time hottie tongue.gif

Agreed that she should be part of the government, but not the VP/maybe-one-day-president. A "regular American" doesn't have enough experience to be making decisions that could in the long-run mean our countries demise. The "regular Americans" don't know anything about politics, and would more than likely make bad decisions in times of crises.

Eh I see your point I guess; I still disagree.

FYI Matt Damon is not a stupid guy. Went to harvard and wrote the script for a movie that won 2 oscars.

But see, the way I think about it...is its good she doesn't have experiences only because she won't be influenced (I'm sure she will a little, but not as much as others) by certain people/organizations etc. I think that she'll understand where the regular american needs/wants and will be able to help out more. *shrug* I don't know much about politics, but I honestly think that her getting in will be a good thing. I'll eat my words if I'm wrong though...lol.

She could do that as a lobbyist/congress woman. When our country is facing times of war, when we're hit by a natural disaster, or when we find another bad guy in a fox hole, I don't want a "regular" American making the decisions that need to be made.

Bomb them (if they are bad) and for a natural disaster we help clean them up. Easy solution...lol. Just kidding...yeah, I know what you mean.

I agree that those are the types of people you want as a lobbyist or something (not her in particular, since I disagree with everything she stands for), but I personally don't think that she's qualified to be the VP.

She's ironically more qualified then Obama is at the moment and he's running for President. Sure, she is unknown, but that doesn't mean a persons political skills are void because of that. I mean, does anyone in the UK know who Shadow immigration Liam Byrne is? Probably not, but that doesn't mean he's one of the best ministers in Government at the moment.

Also I want to know if if Matt Damon believes if dinosaurs were around 4,000 years ago..

I don't think Sarah Palin should be there. She has a new baby with down syndrome, and a pregnant 17 year old daughter who needs her the most right now. I'd say mother first, politics later, that's just me though.

although, it has annoyed me how inexperienced she is, at least obama's been an elected official for a while. and joe biden is pretty big, although i would've preferred the obama/clinton ticket.

+1 respect. Thank you for being a liberal who recognizes bullshit even when it's for your party. We need more people in America like that. Anyways McCain's about as healthy as my dad. They're both not going anywhere anytime soon smile.gif

People, McCain's mother is still live. I really don't expect to see this man keeling over anytime soon.

Yeah seriously. Some men live until they're very old. Cheney is still amongst the living despite his severe heart problems so I seriously do not think McCain's age should be an issue. If it is an issue for you, honestly I think you should get your heads out of your asses and get with the program and accept that people can live a long time without becoming mentally and physically incapable. He has incredible genetics so I personally say he's got at least another decade.

    haha.gif They're all cockroaches.

Edit: And somebody please explain to me, when in the world did being shot down and taken as a POW become a qualification for presidency. Obviously the man's got a lot of contempt or psychological problems, he's been tortured for four years. "Bomb bomb bomb Iran", disgusting cockroach.

Military service has always been a major plus in the presidential race. I know you're Canadian, but I'm sure you heard about Kerry and his obsession with his three purple hearts he got for minor, mainly self-caused injuries.

Some people think it makes him more qualified because he knows more about the realities of war and etc. But to tbh, it doesn't seem like he learned anything from it...
